 Greetings & Happy New Year if I haven't told you already !
 Hope you have your calendars marked for June 8 & 9 for our reunion and will soon call the
 Hilton Cincinnati Airport to reserve a room for those nights. The address is 7373 Turfway Road,
 Florence, KY 41042 (just down the road from last year's reunion site @ Red Roof Inn) and the phone
 number is (859) 371-4400, FAX (859) 371-3361. Janice Miller, the Sales Account Manager, has
 been helping me set up this reunion and may be reached directly at (859)372-9665 if you have any

We have 20 rooms reserved at a cost of $95 each per night plus tax. They will hold these rooms and
prices until May 18 before our reunion. After that time they will be released and the prices may go up
to their usual weekend rate of $119.
This price includes a free hospitality room for our time there, a meeting room if we need one, and an
hour reception time for sign-in among other things.
As most of you know, I had the help of the area Chamber of Commerce in obtaining quotes about hosting
us. Most of the other hotels were in this price range but because of the "extras" they offered and since
we are familiar with the area, I chose the Hilton. The poll, back in the fall, indicated that you wouldn't
mind paying more than we had to pay at the Red Roof Inn and that $85 and chip-in for the meeting room
at the La Quinta would be okay too but this price will include a meeting room and more. This would also be
a place that you'd like to bring family members and we do encourage that. I will compile email from Hilton
& send to you so that you will see what's available.
This might be a paragraph most of you don't  care about ..."just tell me where !".... but I did want you to
know some of the factors in the decision. Anyone who complains is next year's reunion chairman ! No, it's
worth it to get to see you guys again but I do want us to have a "business" meeting while we are there to
discuss future reunions.  There are some places I'd like to set up for anyone to visit Friday and Saturday
if you'd like. There is Mainstrasse Village and other attractions that could be set up for Friday and a riverboat
cruise, luncheon or non-luncheon, that I'm going to try to set up for Saturday.
Would you like a banquet for one of the nights ? It isn't included with our contract, but the Hilton will do one
for us for around $25 per-person. I have no idea if that is a good "banquet" price but she said it was for that
area. We might be able to cater and eat in the hospitality room or we may just do like last year and try to
find a place that will seat us together.
Please do me a favor, let me know you've received this email and give me your thoughts about any
attractions you might want to visit and if you want me to plan a banquet. I would really like this to be a nice
 event for you.
I know the reunion itself is the heart of the matter but hopefully the extras will make it even better.
