Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dottie and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations. At 0820hrs 1-1 Calvary reports their location at LZ Dottie. At 1025hrs Message from 1-20 Infantry requested 2 ARVN Division have a small blocking force for 2 days from BS735795 to BS760820 and block along railroad. Called 2 ARVN Major Pearce and he stated the ARVN plans on terminating unless 1-20 Infantry are in heavy contact. Major Danner then called 1-20 Infantry and relayed the message, reply 1-20 Infantry said that they would handle the blocking force themselves. At 1050hrs Aerial Scouts at BS664841 at 0946hrs snatched 1 VC man was evac to LZ Uptight National police will question. At 1055hrs Aerial Scouts reports at 0947hrs at BS694858 snatches 1 VCS man and evac to LZ Uptight for questioning. At 1440hrs 2nd Platoon 1-1 Calvary reports their location at BS730858. At 1910hrs 1-20 Infantry picked up 1 VC this evening from the 48 Battalion VC knows where there is a VC Platoon, would like to submit a request for ships to conduct a Combat Assault into area. 1-20 Infantry believes this information is first class. Platoon location is approximately 1500 meters from LZ Uptight. Been approved and request 4 extra ships. At 1850hrs Bravo Company at BS783826 detained 2 VCS approximately 20 years old dressed in black. They were evading north. These 2 VCS said the morale is low. 1-20 Infantry requests Chu Hoi and VIP leaflets from BS7090 south to BS7081 east to BS7881, heavy coverage on peninsula at BS7786 west to BS7986 south to BS7783 east to BS7883. At 2132hrs 1-20 Infantry reports at BS730820 observed 2 lights called in artillery on location and lights went out.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. PFC Clifton Johnson was evac to 312th Evac Hospital with multiple frag wounds to left arm and spine.
Alpha Company

At 0815hrs Alpha Company and Task Force Alpha continued searching in zone but had negative results. At 1435hrs Alpha Company is at BS765821, 2nd Platoon E Troop 1-1 Calvary at BS730858. At 2132hrs observed 2 lights, called in artillery on location and lights went out.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued moving along axis B located at 0815hrs at BS791845 and by 1130hrs vicinity at BS788838. At this location found some hand written papers in which the National Police say that they were drawn up and signed by Ho Chi Minh or someone from his staff. At 1435hrs Bravo Company is not located at BS786837 and at 1840hrs 107 at BS843327, 101 at BS883304 and 95 at BS920233. At 1850hrs Bravo Company at BS783826 detained 2 VCS approximately 20 years old dress in black and they were evading north. The 2 VCS said their morale is low. Requests that Chieu Hoi and VIP leaflets be drop in this area.
Charlie Company

Charlie Continued to search and clear vicinity objective 8 at 0815hrs 40 BS756842, 68 BS755843, Charlie Company (-) and Recon at BS758834. At 1030hrs Charlie Company at BS758836 detained 3 VCS females and 2 VCS males and will evac to LZ Uptight to Military Intelligence. At 1435hrs Charlie Company is at BS753842.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security mission LZ UPTIGHT and Battalion Reserve for Operation Logan Field.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Uptight where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). At 0815hrs Recon Platoon reports their location with Charlie Company (-) at BS758834. At 1030hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS753832. At 1105hrs Recon Platoon at BS758834 detained 1 VCS will evac to LZ Uptight. At 1245hrs Recon Platoon at BS758832 detained 2 VCS will evac to LZ Uptight. At 1435hrs Recon Platoon reports they location at BS756834.
