Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1920hrs EOD report of what they stacked up on beach for disposal tomorrow. 77, 105 HE, 34-40mm Duds, 54 91mm HE, 2 105WP, 33 2.75 rocket heads, 2 155 HE rounds, 15 missile fuse heads, 1 90mm HE, 2 3.5 WP, 1 2.75 rocket, and 10 4.2 HE rounds.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 1120hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer at BS720590 encounter several (8) 155 (3) rounds on the road and (5) rounds along the side they believe it may be a possible ambush, will keep US informed.
Alpha Company
November 7, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for the Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company still at BS813482 working with joint operations with the ARVN and will continue to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company
November 7, 1969
At 1045hrs Bravo Company at BS779464 received small arms fire from unknown size enemy force results one US KHA and 1 US WHA (E), Dust Off completed at 1120hrs Gun ships on station. At 1215hrs at BS771461 requests Dust Off for Vietnamese civilian with frag wounds in the left legs probably inflicted when Bravo 93 element was moving to line up with Bravo 91 element the Command and Control Helicopter completed the Dust Off of the wounded civilian at the North Bridge and took them to Bronco. At 1255hrs Bravo Company at grid BS779464 detained one male VCS approximately 25 wearing Khaki pants pick up a contact area and he will be evac to Bronco for questioning. PFC NATANIEL JUIUS RILEY JR., IS LISTED AS KHA with Bravo Company reports SGT David T. Jones evac to the 91st Evac Hospital.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company will continue to have the Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Delta Company
November 7, 1969
Delta Company at 0725hrs is at BS788443 and at 0941hrs moved to BS809413 and found 800 pounds of unpolished rice in a hootch under the floor in heavy plastic bags, will sack it and turn it over to Bravo Company to pass out among the refugees. Delta Company remained in their Day Logger position for their Night Defense Position.
Echo Company
November 7, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0725hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS783455 and at 1600hrs they are still working out of their Day Logger. At 2000hrs Recon reports their vicinity of Bravo Company BS783433.
