Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward 1-20 Infantry Battalion Headquarters is located at LZ Liz as they continued their Mission working with the ARVN units in Duc Pho Area of Operations.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued to carry out their Mission of general support for the Battalion.
Alpha Company
June 7, 1969
At 0800hrs Alpha Company conducts a Recon in Force to vicinity BS763383 and moving to the south-southwest. At 1540hrs at BS753387 found 3 brick 51 cal Machinegun position camouflaged 2 to 3 weeks old and at BS750394 found 1 51 Caliber Machinegun position 3 days old. At 1615hrs Alpha Company at 752401 found 1 NVA KIA in shallow grave wearing green uniform frag wound to chest, been dead about 3 to 4 days.
Bravo Company
June 7, 1969
Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and conducts 1 platoon with APC and PYSOPS Team to vicinity BS762443, BS762456, BS772454, and BS766450 At 2330hrs Bravo Company at LZ Liz has 5 VC KIA at the wire.
Charlie Company
June 7, 1969
Charlie Company conducted 1 Platoon Recon in Force vicinity BS715381. At 1155hrs at BS831427 Charlie Company engaged 1 VC evading, green uniform and results 1 VC KIA and 1 AK 47 and M-1 captured also 2 M-26 grenades and US pistol belt. Charlie Company reports that SP4 Javier Velnzquez was evac to the 312th Evac Hospital (I believe was WIA last night).
Delta Company
June 7, 1969
At 0900hrs Delta Company conducted a Combat Assault from PZ at BS788307 to Cold LZ at BS702302 completed at 0714hrs. At 1007hrs Delta Company is at BS724392 and set up their Day Logger and used multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation.
Echo Company
June 7, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon is air moved from Chu Lai to LZ Bronco completed at 0900hrs. At 1205hrs Recon Platoon back from Stand Down reports their location at BS729392 and then closed on LZ Liz.
