Headquarters and Headquarter Company
April 7, 1968
Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dragon getting ready for OPERATION NORFOLK VICTORY. 11 Brigade Operation is Schedule to begin on April 8, 1968 at 0800hrs. The S-4 section will send a 4-5 to LZ Dragon here Battalion Headquarters is located to insure communication between the Battalion re supply system is in place, will resupply out of both LZ Bronco and Chu Lai. At 1800hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Alpha Company begins closing on LZ Dragon at 0920hrs and has closed at 1155hrs, Recon Platoon closed at 1155hrs. Bravo Company begins to close on LZ Dragon 1334hrs and last lift is at 1400hrs. 4.2 Platoon begins closing on LZ Dragon at 1420hrs and 1-20 Infantry has completed the closing on LZ Dragon.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company prepares for the return to 11th Light Infantry Brigade control and OPERATION NORFOLK VICTORY, Which will Begin on April 8, 1968 at 0800hrs. At 1800hrs Alpha Company 1st Lift closed on LZ Dragon, 2nd lift closed at 1155hrs.
Bravo Company
April 7, 1968
Bravo Company prepares for the return to 11th Light Infantry Brigade control and OPERATION NORFOLK VICTORY, WHICH IS BEING on April 8, 1968 at 0800hrs. At 1240hrs Bravo Company Command Post 2nd and 4th Platoon arrived at LZ Dragon at 1240hrs and last of Bravo Company arrives at 1400hrs.
Charlie Company
April 7, 1968
At 1300hrs Charlie Company located at BS645912 found a 105mm round and 155mm round and destroyed both in place. At 1808hrs Charlie Company reports their Night Defense Position with 81, Command Post at BS617898, 1st Platoon ambushes at BS625879, BS632880 and BS635877, 2nd Platoon ambushes located at BS617900 and BS623900 along with 3rd Platoon ambushes at BS644912, BS648908 and BS655915.
Delta Company
April 7, 1968
Delta Company prepares for the 11th Light Infantry Brigade OPERATION NORFOLK VICTORY, which is Schedule to begin on April 8, 1968 at 0800hrs. Delta Company also conducts Security Sweep of LZ Dragon.
Echo Company
April 7, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 Platoon are now at LZ Bronco preparing to go LZ Dragon prepares for the 11th Light Infantry Brigade and closes on at 1150hrs LZ Dragon for OPERATION NORFOLK VICTORY, which is Schedule to begin on April 8, 1968 at 0800hrs. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for the Battalion.
