Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located on LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in the Duc Pho Area of Operations. At 2130hrs 1-20 Infantry reports Bunker line foo gas and ignited accidently and set off 1 Claymore.
Rear Area: Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz. Alpha Company with one platoon conducts a Cordon and Search operation with PRU at BS767445.
Bravo Company
May 6, 1969
Bravo Company has 1 platoon conducting saturation patrolling in vicinity BS716450 and with 1 platoon conducting saturation patrolling at BS705460. At 1815hrs Bravo Company reports at BS712442 spotted 5 VC/NVA with packs and weapons enemy started evading, sharks scrambled, shot up area with negative results. At 1935hrs Bravo Company reports spotted 5 VC/NVA going west to east, with packs at 703438.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company conducts a Combat Assault from Bronco to BS832408 and is completed at 0703hrs and conducts a Recon in Force to vicinity of BS827397 with tracks. At 1030hrs Charlie Company at BS830405 detained 2 VCS and at 1315hrs BS834404 found 1 45 CAL pistol (rusty).
Delta Company
May 6, 1969
Delta Company continued their security of Pacification with PRU of Hamlet at BS785428. Delta Company moved to their Day Logger at BS788423. At 1805hrs Delta Company received small arms fire from the north approximately 10 rounds and returned fire and sniper fire ceased.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
