Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1037hrs Charlie Company 26 Engineer at BS774536 Vietnamese male stepped on antipersonnel mine on trail, received wounds to chest, legs and arms, Dust Off completed at 1105hrs to LZ Bronco. At 1510hrs 1-20 infantry TOC Intelligence received from MACV Mo Duc senior adviser in Duc Phoug (H) RD cadre observed 3 VC come into area looking for individual to assignation. RD cadre stayed in background and followed VC to positively identified VC Platoon Headquarters at BS961632. RD Cadre did not feel it was strong enough to attack. RD cadre will go with Charlie Company on Combat Assault 9 June to show location. At 0840hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC Date and Time 090600 to 132400 Area of Operation extension from BS720600 to BS700640 Northeast along river to BS752695, combat operations Charlie Company Combat Assault into area of 9 June # B 51. At 1745hrs Charlie Company 26 Engineer reports 22 acres cleared from BS774531 to BS770535 to BS774536 to BS775534. Built a 100 meter of road leveled area to build Ville, used 300 gals of fuel, 3 D7 operational, 1 D7 deadline with cracked head, 1 D7 deadline with hydraulic hose and radiator, 1 CEV operational with 1 CEV deadline volt regulator.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company has moved to their Day Logger at BS751571 and will use Multiple Day Ambush with some Patrolling in their Area of Operation. Alpha Company moved into their Night Defense Position at BS739445.
Bravo Company
June 6, 1970
Bravo Company continued their join operation in support of the Pacification Program along highway 1. At 0055hrs Bravo Company 52 with Mechanical Ambush at BS822402 was denoted and checked area with a negative results. At 0850hrs Bravo Company at BS834396 found a mine 40 pounds socked barge buried in road firing device and destroyed in place. At 1545hrs Bravo Company dusted Off 2 US by ambulance to 23rd Medical with temperature and dysentery we have 14 others that appear to be coming down with dysentery. At 1815hrs Bravo Company and 384 PF at BS768454 detained 2 males 43, bad ID will evac through MACV channels.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 2300hrs Charlie Company 95 at BS765438 observed movement on access road and engaged with small arms fire and checked area with results 1 cow KIA, black in color. At 2035hrs Charlie Company at Liz is at BS760435.
Delta Company
June 6, 1970
Delta Company continued using Day Ambush and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1310hrs Delta Company at BS762539 the 94 element requests Dust Off for 1 Vietnamese child with stomach disorder, Dust Off is completed at 1348hrs at BS762539, at 2035hrs Delta Company reports their night locations at BS732565, BS768560, BS760558, BS757571, BS767573 with Delta 96 and Charlie Company 26 Engineer at BS7785573.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. At 4.2 Platoon reports Scheduled Fires 10 for a total expended of 8 HE and 13 Illumination. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. At 0745hrs Recon Platoon reports their Location at BS762601. At 2035hrs Recon Platoon reports their snake locations at BS742600, BS744594 and BS738435.
