Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1100hrs 1-20 Infantry at BS623558 Sharks supporting Combat Assault spotted carry party and engaged with results 3 VC KIA.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0430hrs LZ Bronco reports 155mm round fell short and landed on western side of POW camp, on side of Engineer Hill with negative casualties and negative damaged.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 1900hrs Alpha Company reports their elements no change except for 23 at BS707520 55 at BS720434 with 53 at BS724514. At 1725hrs 1-20 Infantry reports that their SRRP are in the following positions A at BS705500 and C at BS865294.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ LIZ with the 52 element at Bridge 124. At 1100hrs Bravo Company at BS921127 working with APC sweeping Village, 2 VC evaded and jump in boat, APC engaged resulting in 2 VC KIA. At 1530hrs Bravo Company at BS717434 detained 1 VC suspect evading. At 1540hrs Bravo Company at BS717434 detained 1 VCS, male and taken to LZ LIZ. At 1610hrs Bravo Company Dust Off for one US with a broken leg. At 1725hrs 1-20 Infantry reports location SRRP A is at BS705500 and C at BS865294.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with the 96 element on brigade 111 and the 53 element is at BS804367. At 1725hrs 1-20 Infantry reports that their SRRP are in the following positions A at BS705500 and C at BS865294.
Delta Company
February 6, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown and provided security for Brigades 95 and 94. At 1040hrs Delta Company at BS921271 engaged 2 VC evading, and results where 2 VC KIA. At 1600hrs Delta Company at BS913204 requested Dust Off for man with broken leg completed at 1752hrs. At 1725hrs 1-20 Infantry reports that their SRRP are in the following positions A at BS705500 and C at BS865294. SP4 Jerry Wilkerson was attached to the 312th Evac Hospital.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon reports they are not on LZ Liz with their Security Mission. At 1040hrs Recon Platoon conducts a Combat Assault 1 PZ 1010hrs from LZ Liz and the 1st LZ at BS868312. At 1400hrs Recon Platoon is now location at BS641565.
