Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0710hrs 1-20 infantry requests EOD for Recon Platoon at BS865369 to blow 5 105 rounds. At 1000hrs Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry continued to work their Area of Operations from BS748388, Alpha Company is located at BS825445, Bravo Company at BS783433, Charlie Company at BS767248, Delta Company at LZ Liz with Recon at BS783433. At 1350hrs Alpha Company reports on their first LZ sniper fire from across the river Negative casualties or damage as Alpha Company returns to control of the parent unit 3-1 infantry at BS473765. At 1425hrs Bravo Company at BS711461 request Dust Off for one Vietnamese Civilian with gunshot wounds in the left leg Dust Off completed at 1444hrs to LZ Bronco. At 1705hrs 1-20 Infantry at BS771461 request Dust Off for one Vietnam with leg, head, neck wounds the man was putting out a claymore and it went off, Dust Off completed at 1653hrs.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 1315hrs Delta Company 26 Engineer at BS824457 reports CEV detonated 155mm booby trap with results 1 US KIA. Light Damage to CEV. Delta 26 Engineer was supporting the 39 Engineer in their Landing Clearing Operations.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for the Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is located at BS813482 and working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company
November 5, 1969
At 1425hrs Bravo Company at BS771461 requests Dust Off for one Vietnamese civilian with gunshot wounds in the left leg Dust Off completed at 1444hrs to Bronco. At 1620hrs Bravo Company at BS786436 and PF Platoon 218 was cutting bamboo and received small arm fire from the east, they called mortar and swept area with negative results. At 1640hrs Bravo Company at BS771461 Request Urgent Dust Off for one Vietnamese with leg, head, neck wounds the man was putting out a claymore and it went off, Dust Off completed at 1653hrs. At 1835hrs Bravo Company will have multiple ambushes out.
Charlie Company

At 0800hrs Charlie Company is at LZ Liz and at 1000hrs Charlie Company is at BS727441 their Day Logger. At 1410hrs Charlie Company location is at BS727428. At 1940hrs Charlie Company has moved into their Night Defense Position at BS743425, with 91 at LZ Liz.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1000hrs Recon Platoon continue to work they Area of Operations with PF units from BS783433 still working Area of Operations at 1200hrs. Recon working with Bravo Company and PRU set up their night Position Recon 217 PF at BS783433.
