Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1100hrs ARVN convoy with 100 vehicles or more will move from Quang Ngai to Tam Key pass it on to units near Highway #1. At 1100hrs Command and Control Helicopter received ground fire from 8 VC with AK-47 engaged with negative results at this time calling another Air Strike on this location.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 1710hrs Alpha Company has the 23 element is at BS719532, 44 at BS721527, 55 at BS723518, 43 at BS723514. At 1710hrs 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations A SRRP at BS712504, moving Johnny to BS875294 and D at BS913172.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and at 1645hrs Bravo Company reports on Bridge 124 small Vietnamese boy told them that holes they had dug were booby trap, they threw hand grenades in holes resulting in 1 secondary explosion. At 1710hrs 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations A SRRP at BS712504, moving Johnny at BS875294 and D at BS913172.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with the 96 element on bridge 111 with 53 at BS789382. At 1710hrs 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations A SRRP at BS712504, moving Johnny at BS875294 and D at BS913172.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown and providing security for Bridges 95 and 94. At 1830hrs Delta Company requested routine Dust Off for one US with possible malaria completed at 1830hrs. At 1710hrs 1-20 Infantry reports SRRP locations A SRRP at BS712504, moving Johnny at BS875294 and D at BS913172. SP4 Dwight J. Sommer and PFC Marvin Songer where attached to 312th Evac Hospital.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0820hrs Recon Platoon reports their location reported at LZ Dragon and have take up their Security Mission.
