Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry, Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0040hrs TM, String 310 Target B spotted 3 to 4 moving northeast to southwest at 3 miles per hour, metal confirmation, negative clearance due to the proximity of friendly Vietnamese, fired 8 HE Artillery 105mm after further clearance. At 1100hrs S-4 Dolphin 15403 is on station for re supply. Legend: 1st Platoon 63-68, 2nd Platoon 83-88, 3rd Platoon 33-38, 4th Platoon 03-08, CO-50.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.

At 0820hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon vicinity BS757558 had a Mechanical Ambush detonate at 0410hrs. Checked area this morning and found 1 dog negative pack or weapons, black on black, negative ID, suspected to be VC sympathizer. At 0955rhs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon patrol is moving out for BS757565 and 1st Platoon patrol is at checkpoint 1 at grid BS738576. At 1025hrs the 3rd Platoon purchased 1 M-26 hand frag from 11-year-old male vicinity BS763574, paid him1 can C-rations. At 1305hrs Alpha Company vicinity BS759559 requests 1 routine Dust Off for a Vietnamese female with pulse, 135 and unconscious completed at 1321hrs. At 1705hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon patrol is at checkpoint 2 is in the vicinity BS763562, 1st Platoon Patrol closed on BS755318 and 3rd Platoon patrol is moving out for BS725419. At 1920hrs Alpha Company Command Post 1st and 4th Platoon at BS753568, 3rd Platoon BS763574, BS761572, 1st Platoon BS740579, BS742578, and 2nd Platoon BS753557, BS756559.

At 1525hrs Charlie Company 3rd Platoon is moving out for BS702553, 2nd Platoon is moving out for BS67372. At 1630hrs Charlie Company 3rd Platoon ambush BS700551. At 1825hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon has stay behind ambush closed on BS673572. At 2015hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon Patrol moved out for BS675572. At 2030hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon ambush is in location at BS755572.

At 0805hrs Delta Company 3rd Patrol at checkpoint 2 vicinity BS715411, 2nd Platoon Patrol is moving out for BS710402. At 0854hrs Delta Company 2nd Platoon patrol closed vicinity BS713404. At 0900hrs Delta Company 1st Platoon in Patrol Base vicinity BS755378 with 3rd Platoon in Patrol Base vicinity BS722416. Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 1927hrs Recon Platoon is moving out for BS721442. At 1945hrs Recon while moving out from LZ Liz spotted booby trap vicinity BS745432 (signs) notice piles of rocks and broken bamboo indicating booby trap vicinity BS744431 to BS742440. At 2210hrs Recon Platoon report that they are in location at BS721442.
