Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0918hrs E Troop 1 Cav at BS788420 evac 1 detainee to MACV Duc Pho for questioning negative weapons or ID. At 0955hrs Charlie Company 26 Engineer element at Access Road to LZ Liz request Dust Off for Vietnamese female shot in hip, evac to LZ Bronco. At 1105hrs LRRP Oregon found company size base camp bunkers, hut 1 old hovel handle. At 1150hrs LRRP Oregon at BS748292 engaged 10 NVA some in black PJ some in khaki all with helmets, results 4 NVA KIA, 1 SKS rifle CIA. Saw base camp with several poncho lean to and counted 20 bunkers fresh extract at 1145hrs. At 1200hrs LRRP Nevada inserted at 1140hrs at BS6766415. At 1440hrs 1-20 Infantry SRRP Maverick inserted at BS773394. At 2005hrs MACV Company of VC in tunnels at BS761411, BS765414, BS766418 and 100 NVA at BS792367 hit Duc Pho tonight, 40 VC collect taxes at La Van Doit.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0139hrs LZ Bronco H sector Bunker line spotted 4 VC/NVA 1 with weapon, engaged with small arms fire with unknown result. At 1430hrs Late Report Bravo Company at BS813363 vehicle going to LZ Liz received small arms fire, driver 1st vehicle turn around to check the 2nd vehicle and ran off the road, 2 EM checked over by 6th Support and released vehicle was a total loss.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company at 2055hrs after Search and Clear operation in their Area of Operation moved to their Night Defense Position at 2055hrs vicinity BS696414, 31 at BS695417 and 51 at BS698412. At 0805hrs Alpha Company is located at BS705422.
Bravo Company
April 3, 1969
Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1220hrs Bravo Company at BS834340. Late Report Bravo at BS813363 Vehicle going to Liz received small arms fire and driver 1st Vehicle turn around to check on the 2nd vehicle and ran off road with 2 injured (E) checked over by 6th Support and released vehicle was a total loss. At 1455hrs Bravo Company 82 closed on LZ Thunder and at 1855hrs Bravo Company 52 is located at BS848317.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. At 1020hrs Charlie Company 52 is located at BS915258. At 1855hrs Charlie Company locations are at 85 at bridge 94, 82 at Bridge 95, 32 at BS922224 and BS932226. At 2000hrs Charlie Company received 3 rounds of M-79 at BS922224, 3 US WHA (E) also knocked out radio communication. SP4 Martin Steenstra was attached to the 312 Evac Hospital, SP4 Thomas S. Troha and SP4 Roger L. Walker where returned from the Patient Casualty Company.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz and Delta Company 52 is at BS755455. At 1455hrs Delta Company 52 closed on LZ Liz. At 1855hrs Delta Company the 32 element at Bridge 124. At 1855hrs Delta Company night locations 32 at bridge 124, 34 at BS752436, 23 at BS754420 and the 52 element is at BS766426. SRRP Maverick is located at BS773395. At 2000hrs 1-20 Infantry LZ Liz Delta Company saw lights to south 3 clicks fired M-60 and lights went out also to east, fired 81mm mortar, results unknown.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
