At 0745hrs Dolphin 6 is on station for a weather check, picked up CPT Parker, checked the area, CPT Parker stated that several Vietnamese bodies were laying along, Highway 1. He returned to LZ Li and stated that bad weather was closing in from the North. At 0920hrs Resupply bird is on station. At 0945hrs Battalion Commander departed LIZ with Brigade Commander for check of area. At 0950hrs 1LT DeMercurio checked bunkers of Headquarters and Headquarter Company, all OK except one where no one is living in. At 1000 resupply bird broke station due to bad weather resupplied Delta Company. From Brigade: CH47 (hooks) can be used to transport refugees, RF and PF. At 1115hrs resupply bird is on station. At 1140hrs Present SOI will remain in effect until further notice. At 1410hrs 1-20 Infantry received call from Artillery on LZ Snoopy that they were out of water, needed 100 gallons. Response Called Brigade for a helicopter and the rear for 100 gallons of water to resupply LZ Snoopy. At 1450hrs Nui Vong, Radar destroyed in place 1 dud WP round 155mm Artillery (not a Booby Trap). It was approximately 2 weeks old at grid BS700602. At 1505 Helicopter is on station to carry water to LZ Snoopy. 1525hrs LZ Snoopy resupply of water completed. At 1630hrs Radar Target at 1610hrs grid BS660591, 8 to 10 personnel moving east. Time shot 1625hrs 16 HE rounds 105mm Artillery. At 1654hrs Helicopter is on station to take resupply to Charlie Company. At 1655hrs Radar Target at grid BS663600, 8 to 10 personnel moving south with negative Clearance, At 1715hrs Radar target at grid BS 670573, 8 to 10 personnel moving south , time shot 1740hrs 8 HE rounds 105mm Artillery. At 1720hrs Helicopter completed resupply of Charlie Company At 1849hr Radar Target at grid BS676608, 8 to 10 stationary negative clearance due to approximate of Ville. At 1910hrs Radar Target at grid BS667609 8 to 10 stationary again negative clearance. Legend 1st Platoon 03-08, 2nd Platoon 53-58, 3rd Platoon 83-88, 4th Platoon 63-68 and CO 02.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Action in the Area of Operation was light due to continuing inclement weather conditions. Alpha Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Bravo Company

Action in the Area of Operation was light due to continuing inclement weather conditions. Bravo Company remain in place and report the conditions in the area there in and if they having a. problem to get problem forward.
Charlie Company

Action in the Area of Operation was light due to continuing inclement weather conditions. At 1654hrs Helicopter on station to take resupply to Charlie Company and resupply was completed at 1720hrs.
Delta Company

Action in the Area of Operation was light due to continuing inclement weather conditions. Delta Company is at LZ Dragon with Security Mission. At 1000hrs Resupply bird broke station due to bad weather but had re supplied Delta Company.
Echo Company
October 31, 1970
Action in the Area of Operation was light due to continuing inclement weather conditions. Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for the 1-20 Infantry.
