Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ O’Connor, with elements cutting the trails, looking for movement down into the Valley leading to the Coast and conducts a Security sweep south of Hiep DUC area looking for building or signs of traffic or build up, into these areas. At 0730hrs 196 Infantry Brigade reports that weather has improved enough for helicopters to fly into LZ Center and LZ O’Connor.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company and Bravo Company continued to use Search and Destroy Operations northward along the river.
Bravo Company
March 31, 1968
Bravo Company with Alpha Company continued to use their Search and Destroy Operation is a northward movement along the river heading for a possible river crossing.
Charlie Company
March 31, 1968
Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Dottie and LZ Uptight. Charlie Company ambush is in position at BS827648.
Delta Company
March 31, 1968
Delta Company 2nd Platoon and Recon Security Mission for LZ O’Connor as Delta Company (-) conducts their Search and Destroy operation vicinity AT8324, AT8434. Delta Company is on the way to search the area of contact last night and move to cross the river to destroy Bridge at BS842213.
Echo Company
March 31, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon where now located on LZ O’Connor and set up to provide direct support to the Battalion. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ O’Connor.
