Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued working with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0545hrs Brigade TOC Cease fire call to all units, goes in effect at 0600hrs.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Charlie Company

Charlie Company remained in their Night Defense Position at BS812405 at 0625hrs Charlie Company Dust Off 1 man with swollen hand it’s three times normal size, they will Dust Off with Command and Control helicopter at 1735hrs. The man hurt hand in Chu Lai. Charlie Company then conducts a Company Recon in Force to BS795428 and the PRU detained 1 VCS negative weapon with no ID and at 1000hrs Charlie Company at BS814424 and with 34 at BS787424. At 1915hrs Charlie Company reports their location at BS814423.
Delta Company

Delta Company remained in their Night Defense Position vicinity BS768438. Delta Company conducts a Recon in Force to BS772395 and set up OP at BS768390 and BS795428. At 0800hrs Delta Company reports their location at BS763400. At 1820hrs Delta Company reports their location at BS766404. At 2030hrs Delta Company reports that 55 is at BS768406 and 94 is at BS760400.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0615hrs Recon Platoon reports location at BS719438 reports picking up 1 male VCS, had ID in Khaki uniform and a stick on back with pack with change of clothing and warm rice. At 0805hrs Recon report location at BS729426 and will remain in their Night Defense Position. At 1820hrs Recon reports their location at BS729426 and will move to their Night Defense Position at BS736429. PFC Martin J. Mitchell was attached to 312th Evac Hospital (11B10).
