Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0900hrs 1-20 Infantry Primo 6 is on station at this time and broke station at 0956hrs. At 1110hrs Division reports Americal Division Commander is going to Hill 103. At 1505hrs Delta Company Combat Assault 1st PZ 1506hrs from Liz Access Road, and 2 LZ (Last) at 1536hrs vicinity BS711491. At 1804hrs TMF at 1700hrs GS 2-C target stationary personnel metal confirmed. At 0750hrs GS 2 C stationary personnel with metal confirmed. At 2300hrs 1-20 Infantry Warlord Black into Nighthawk Box 64, out of Box at 2340hrs with negative findings. At 0030hrs Warlord is in box 60X and at 0123hrs is out of 60X Box with negative findings. At 0440hrs Warlord Black into Box 62 Recon by fire, suspect enemy location vicinity BS828278, negative results and at 0425hrs exited with negative findings. Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0758hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon Patrol is moving out to BS730417. At 08347hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon patrol is at checkpoint 3 at BS725423. At 1710hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon is moving to their Patrol Base BS727447. At 1938hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon and Command Post in Night Defense Position at BS733424, 2nd Platoon at BS717436 and 1st Platoon ambush at BS725429.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and Access Road Security.
Charlie Company
June 30, 1971
Charlie Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1250hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon moving to BS697528 and by 1512hrs established Patrol Base at BS697528 and conducts patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1815hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon patrol is at BS696519, Mechanical Ambush at BS698522. At 2005hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon and Command Post in their Night Defense Position at BS695524.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1505hrs Delta Company conducts a Combat Assault 1st Platoon 1500hrs Combat Assault to BS692477 and 711491 and completed at 1636hrs. At 1630hrs Delta Company Command Post while moving to Patrol Base found a booby trap large can of Petna with trip wire in high grass was blown in place at BS695475. At 1955hrs Delta Company 2nd Platoon moving out to BS713493, 2nd Platoon ambush is at BS709495. At 2005hrs Delta Company Command Post and 1st Platoon Night Defense BS694474, 1st Platoon ambush at BS693470 and 2nd Platoon in Night Defense Position at BS713493 and 2nd Platoon ambush at BS709495.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 0625hrs Recon is moving to their Patrol Base vicinity BS685421 and closed on location at 0637hrs. At 2015hrs Recon is in their Night Defense Position vicinity BS699423.
