Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry is located at LZ Liz, and continued their Mission and working with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. (Believe to be all Medics) PFC James P. Miller was evac to the 312th Evac Hospital sick. CPL JOHN DENNIS MORRISSEY and CPL JAMES WALTER JONES ARE LISTED AS KIA (Bravo Company June 30, 1969).
Alpha Company
June 30, 1969
At 1000hrs Alpha Company moved into their Day Logger at BS768427 and again using multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 200hrs Alpha Company Night Defense Position is at BS773417, with 95 at BS778419, and 36 at BS776425.
Bravo Company
June 30, 1969
At 1000hrs Bravo Company at BS748464 in their Day Logger position and used multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 2000hrs Bravo Company moved to their Night Defense Position at BS733470. Bravo Company where moving into Night Defense Position and detonated a mine, results 1 US KHA and 5 US WHA. Dust Off was making the pick up at 2035hrs and hit one man with tail rotor results 1 US WHA requiring Urgent Dust Off. At 2055hrs Dust Off, going into area was blown out of the air after US detonate pressure type mine. Another Dust Off sent to area and the total figures show a total of US WHA 15 (E) 2 (M) 8 US KHA 2 (E) and 6 on the ground from Bravo Company and the 1 US (M) was evac also. Total Dust Off 1st Dust Off completed at 2035hrs 5 (E), 2nd Dust Off ship is blown down, 3rd Dust Off completed at 2125hrs 7 (E) and the 4th Dust Off completed with the remaining WHA. Bravo Company reports the following CPL ROBERT JOSEPH COLEMAN, SSG MICHAEL EDWARD FOWLER, SP4 GLEN ERVIN POTEET, CPL RONALD EDWARD ROBERTSON, SP4 JEROME ERNIE TUCKER and CPL LARRY JOE WHITE. Headquarters and Headquarter Company (medics) CPL JAMES WALTER JONES, CPL. JOHN DENNIS MORRISSEY is LISTED AS KHA. PFC David Van Huskirk, PFC James T. McDaniel, PFC James K. Adams, SP4 James E. House, SP4 Robert R. Herr, SP4 Donnie R. Black, SP4 Robert Pellerin, SFC Louis P. Dunfee and SGT John F. Johannsen.
Charlie Company

At 0755hrs Charlie Company at BS818472 request a routine Dust Off for man with temp 104, and set up their Day Logger. At 2000hrs Charlie Company moved into their Night Defense Position is at BS780263.
Delta Company
June 30, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and both north and south OP.
Echo Company
June 30, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0800hrs Recon move to LZ Bronco and at 1800hrs Recon reports their location at BS826366 and by 2300hrs reports their Night positions at BS828376. PFC Joel R. Hall and PFC Wayne Cantrell where attached to 312th Evac Hospital (11B10).
