Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
January 30, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 0105hrs Alpha Company at BS721532, Dragon observed 5 to 10 VC moving northwest were observed by Alpha Company 51 element at vicinity BS714536, engaged with 81mm and received 10 rounds of 60mm and 30 to 40 rounds of small arms fire from 2 enemy position and returned artillery fire. At 0900hrs Alpha Company Dusted Off one US with 104 temp completed at 0905hrs. At 0945hrs Alpha Company 21 element is working area at BS718530. At 1630hrs Alpha Company at BS747595 detained 1 VCS No ID or weapon.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1200hrs Bravo Company at BS775406 1 VC KIA was evading wearing gray shorts also CIA one VCS taken to Liz. At 1438hrs Bravo Company at BS777407 found 1 VC in tunnel engaged with result 1 VC KIA negative weapon or ID.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. Charlie Company at 1020hrs requested a Dust Off for 1 US completed at 1035hrs to LZ Bronco with possible appendix.
Delta Company
January 30, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. Delta Company at BS923255 Utility Resupply Ship received sniper rounds response was to put in 31 81mm mortar rounds right on target negative results.
Echo Company
January 30, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon at 0845hrs report their Location on LZ Liz. David C. Huffman was evac to 312th Evac Hospital sick at 1530hrs (11B10).
