Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Siberia and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1410hrs Charlie Company at AT927275, Shirley, Earl while on patrol fell and sprang his ankle. Slow Motion #5 pick man up and took to LZ Siberia and then to Chu Lai by resupply bird. At 1540hrs May Fair 37 Air Calvary is on station and broke at 1630hrs due to thunderstorm. At 1915hrs Spot report from Brigade 96 X 1 B 40 at grid AT982206 at 1700hrs no body hurt. At 2400hrs LATE SPOT At 2215hrs Delta Company SGT ElijahTowns JR, Elijah received small frag wound in right arm from Frag grenade and treated at LZ Siberia and released, no Dust Off required.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for Chu Lai.
Alpha Company

Bravo Company

At 0705hrs Bravo Company Command Post with 2nd Platoon is moving to AT916268 and closed on Patrol Base at 0740hrs. At 0740hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon is moving into Patrol base at AT900269. At 0840hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon is moving on to AT900267. At 0940hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon closed on AT900207. At 1025hrs Bravo Company 2nd Platoon is moving to AT919273 and at 1111hrs closed on AT916268. At 1350hrs Bravo Company 2nd Platoon is moving to AT916274. At 1835hrs Bravo Company 2nd Platoon has closed on AT916268. At 1900hrs Bravo Company Command Post and 2nd Platoon is moving into their Night Defense Position at AT913268 with 1st Platoon moving into their Night Defense Position at AT913270.
Charlie Company

At 1850hrs Charlie Company all elements closed on Night Defense Position at AT924275.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Siberia as the 1-20 Infantry prepares for their airlift. At 2400hrs LATE SPOT, at 2215hrs Delta Company SGT Towns, Elijah received small frag wound in right arm from Frag grenade and treated at LZ Siberia and released, no Dust Off required.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Siberia, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 0830hrs Recon Platoon has security patrol vicinity AT864274. At 1435hrs Recon is moving to AT864227. At 1530hrs Recon reports location checkpoint 2 at AT866227 and at 1635hrs closed on AT864220. At 1915hrs Recon Platoon reports they are in their Night Defense Position at AT864221. At 1915hrs Spot report from Brigade 96 X 1 B 40 at grid AT982206 at 1700hrs no body hurt.
