Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0800hrs Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry continued their Sweep and Clear operation southeast of LZ Liz at BS739395 is still working out of their Day Logger at 1354hrs. At 1800hrs Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry reports their location BS743413. At 2115hrs Alpha Company 3-1 Infantry reports their positions at BS735411, 01 at BS723416, 06 at BS724413, 51 at BS727406 and 56 at BS738409. 1-20 Infantry Plans change for 03 November Bravo Company 1 Platoon and 16 PRU, Recon in force from BS783433 to BS779428. Charlie Company 1st Platoon PZ BS728426 to LZ BS761421 1 Platoon on Liz will leave Liz and sweep to BS765434 to BS769426. 1 Platoon will then Combat Assault to join Platoon from Liz move to BS774428- BS778418 to BS762408. Delta Company BS758408 at 0645hrs will move to BS770411 set up OP. At 2200hrs 1-20 Infantry 3- November Request for 2 Combat Assaults Charlie Company 1-20 Infantry PZ 0700hrs at BS728426 contact Mike India 32.90. LZ 0710hrs BS761421 LZ contact Mike India 32.90 with gun ship and smoke.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 0015hrs LZ Bronco PP5 at 1245hrs at BS843387 spotted 7 personnel engaged with 25 rounds, of 81mm mortar with unknown results. At 0214hrs TMF at BS788323 detected movement from the Southeast 10-12 personnel engaged with 81, mortar rounds, unknown results.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for the Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is at BS813482 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1102hrs Alpha Company at BS812466 detained 1 man VCS, 35, no ID, dressed in black P.J. will evac to Bronco. Alpha Company is in the Night Defense Position at BS813482.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company at their Day Logger at BS783433 is working joint operation with the ARVN forces using multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. Bravo Company again have multiple ambushes out tonight location 96 at BS771461, 01 BS789417, 95 BS778445, 92 BS774457, 94 BS781438, 05 BS794420, 06 BS787413.
Charlie Company

At 0800hrs Charlie Company at BS715438 their new Day Logger. At 2115hrs Charlie Company in their Night Defense Position at BS728426 with 01 at BS725448, 03 BS725445, 06 BS720450, and 53, 55 at BS728443.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0800hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS783433 and still working out of their Day Logger at 1800hrs.
