Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Siberia and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0401hrs Weather Report scattered Thunderstorms with ceiling at 0800hrs and broken, with winds maximum of 20 knots with gust up to 35 knots variable. At 1100hrs Area of Operations for Alpha 3-5 Upper left AT8929 and Lower Right AT9428 time ASAP to indefinite, Intelligence Report follow up. At 1100hrs Eng 28(Gun Ship) found 1 tunnel at AT853197 and engaged with negative results. At AT855188 found 2 bunkers with recent activity, within the last 48 hours engaged and destroyed 2 bunkers, broke station at 1205hrs. At 1100hrs Eng 78 is on station for 1 hour worked Box #1 Lower Right AT8818. At 1204hrs Trophy 37 LOH time extended for 1 hour, LOH time 1300hrs to 1600hrs. At 1425hrs Decade 79 198 Infantry Brigade is on LZ Siberia.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for Chu Lai.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ West with some Defense Patrolling around the Fire Base. At 0401hrs Weather Report: Scatter thunder storms with ceiling at 800+ broken at 2,000 overcast, ½ mile visibility, thunderstorms and rain showers. Winds max of 20 knots with gust up to 35 knots wind variable.
Bravo Company

At 0718hrs Bravo Company Command Post with 2nd Platoon is moving to their Patrol Base at AT987259. At 0845hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon is moving to Patrol Base at AT899259. At 1100hrs Bravo Company detained 3 Vietnamese children approximately 9 to 13 the kids were picked up by resupply bird and taken to Hiep Duc at AT911245. Bravo Company continued their Saturation Patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1820hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon is moving to their Night Defense Position at AT903263 and Bravo Company Command Post with 2nd Platoon is moving to their Night Defense Position at AT900257 both have closed by 1920hrs.
Charlie Company

At 0401hrs Weather Report scattered Thunderstorms with ceiling at 0800hrs and broken, with winds maximum of 20 knots with gust up to 35 knots variable. At 1445hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon 1st Squad is moving to AT866249 and at 1545hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon is moving to their Night Defense Position at AT867246. At 1445hrs Charlie Company is using saturation patrolling in their Area of Operations at AT868249. At 1810hrs Charlie Company closed into Night Defense Position at AT867246.
Delta Company

Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Siberia, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the coordination responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry.
