Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ O’Connor, with elements cutting the trails, looking for movement down into the Valley leading to the Coast and conducts a Security sweep south of Hiep Duc area looking for building or signs of traffic or build up, into these areas. Bravo Company 2-1 Infantry will remain OPCON to the 2-1 Infantry.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. SSGT Doinysiu Costello was attached to the 67th Medical Evac Hospital.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company and Bravo Company continued to use Search and Destroy Operations vicinity AT8326 and AT8525 along with searching for a river crossing.
Bravo Company
March 29, 1968
Bravo Company with Alpha Company continued to Search and Destroy operations in their Area of Operation along with searching for a river crossing in the area.
Charlie Company

At 1815hrs Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Sue with ambush at BS642872.
Delta Company
March 29, 1968
Delta Company (-) departed from Fire Support Base O’Connor to west for Night Ambushes vicinity AT9024 with 2nd Platoon on O’Connor for Security Mission. PFC Robert Cable was losses attached to NSA Da Nang.
Echo Company
March 29, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon where now located on LZ O’Connor and set up to provide direct support for the Battalion. Recon Platoon returns to LZ O’Connor to work with Delta Company 2nd Platoon on Security Mission of LZ O’Connor.
