Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. Alpha Company put out multiple night ambushes tonight.
Bravo Company
January 29, 1969
Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1210hrs Bravo Company at BS775406 engaged 2 VC evading and results are 1 VC KIA and 1 VC CIA. At 1210hrs Bravo Company at BS775400 engaged 1 VC in tunnel, results 1 VC KIA, 3 ammo boxes destroyed.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 0725hrs Charlie Company on LZ Thunder conducts a Combat Assault to LZ BS824405 at 0735hrs and 2nd LZ at BS822399 completed at 0750hrs on a Search and Clear Operation. At 0930hrs Charlie Company BS819403 detained 1 VC suspect for questioning turned out to be a ARVN soldier AWOL. At 1150hrs Charlie Company located at 40 and 21 at BS819401. At 1225hrs Charlie Company 21 and 41 elements moving closed to Bronco so can be extracted, notified people so they don’t fire on them. CPL ROBERTO ANDRESS ROMERO LISTED AS KIA. (See January 28, 1969)

At 1835hrs Recon 1-20 Infantry routine Dust Off for man has severe headache Dust Off completed at 1830hrs. At 1835hrs Recon Platoon at BS822422 detained 1 VCS. At 1845hrs Recon Platoon reports 51 is located at BS768426.
