Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1925hrs 1-20 Infantry had request Tracker Team at southeast Pad.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0025hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense at BS833394 3-4 people put artillery and 7 81mm with negative results. At 0130hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense PPS-5 picked up 1 NVA/VC evading sharks were scrambled results one hootch destroyed at BS838388 and at 2357hrs PPS-5 south at BS831407 one NVA/VC moving engaged with 81mm mortars, results unknown. At 2025hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense spotted 3-4 VC at BS843395 also 3-4 VC at BS836406 called artillery with negative results.
Alpha Company
April 29, 1969
Alpha Company is OPCON to the 4-21 Infantry. At 1100hrs Alpha Company located at BS674293 and by 1115hrs Alpha Company is at BS673291 found 6 huts 10 X 30, 6 bunkers, 2 green uniforms, 2 bayonets, 1 pistol belt 5 crossbows, 5 NVA canteens and 25 M-1 rounds and documents. At 1430hrs Alpha Company at BS675292 spot 2 NVA with weapons, 1 NVA KIA dress in green, and 1 Chi Com grenade, 1 grenade, 12 bunkers in area.
Bravo Company
April 29, 1969
At 0920hrs Bravo Company is at BS713445 observed 3 VC/NVA with weapons, moving west called Artillery with negative assessment. Bravo Company reports they are in their Day Logger at BS699454 and now is their Night Defense Position.
Charlie Company
April 29, 1969
Charlie Company conducted a Combat Assault 1st PZ at 0650hrs and LZ completed at 0728hrs to LZ at 705421. At 0825hrs Charlie Company at BS703127 found 1 booby trap with a Chi Com grenade in a plastic bag with trip wire blew in place. At 1000hrs Charlie Company at BS704428 found 6 packs that are burned documents some of the papers believe to be 93 Battalion from M-1 order of battle and will evac. At 1100hrs Charlie Company at BS704128 found 1 pack covered with blood and at 1825hrs Charlie Company is at BS705421 and 51 are at BS703427.
Delta Company
April 29, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz. At 1210hrs Delta Company reports 31 is located at BS697458. At 1825hrs Delta Company reports their night locations, OP location at BS752436 and ambush at BS754420.
Echo Company
April 29, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1825hrs Recon Platoon reports their SRRP at BS825400.
