Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0710hrs 1-20 Infantry request one team tracker dogs at Bud Pad 1300hrs for Bravo Company use at LZ Liz. At 1352hrs 1-20 Infantry request Dust Off for Artillery Attached TC Radar for 1 US with second degree, burns, individual was pouring hot tar. Dust Off completed at 1400hrs. .
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion.
Alpha Company
November 28, 1969
Alpha Company will continue their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is at BS833437 working with joint operations with the ARVN and will continue to use Multiple Patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company
November 28, 1969
Bravo Company is at BS783433 working with joint operations with the ARVN and will continue to use Multiple Patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company
November 28, 1969
Charlie Company is at BS741439, Charlie Company at 0650hrs is in their ambush site detained 1 VCS male dressed in black P.J., 13, will be evac to LZ Liz. At 1352hrs Charlie Company at BS754420, Artillery Attached TC Radar, requested Dust Off for 1 US with second degree burns, the individual pouring hot tar, Dust Off is completed at 1406hrs.
Delta Company
November 28, 1969
Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz. Delta Company reports SP4 Lawrence Pennington was evac 91st Evac Hospital.
Echo Company
November 28, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon Complete their Combat Assault PZ 1340hrs and LZ 1415hrs at BS773373. At 1625hrs Recon Platoon at BS783361 found a Base Camp with a large tunnel found 1 US canteen and some Chi Com equipment, will check the tunnel out tomorrow.
