Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued working with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0730hrs Warlord Pickup 1 Man had nice haircut, he is at LZ LIZ he tried to evade being interrogated by 1-20 Infantry S-2. At 1955hrs Fire Support Base Snoopy received unknown number of RPG rounds, results 2 US WIA (E) 1 WIA from 1-82 Artillery WIA (E) and 39 Engineer reports also 1 truck heavy damage and 1 truck with slightly damaged.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. Alpha Company continues to conduct a Block in force to Vicinity BS761448 with PRU and continue to sweep west. At 1000hrs Alpha Company request a Dust Off for 1 WIA Vietnamese a 10 year old boy shot in leg by Alpha Company he was evading with a group of Vietnamese and Command and Control Helicopter made the Dust Off. At 1045hrs Alpha Company and PRU found 2 water pumps both in working order was fairly new. PRU believe the pumps where used by the VC. At 1010hrs Alpha Company found 1 portable radio civilian type VC medic note book all finding hidden in hedge row, PRU will keep this.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company conducts Recon in Force with 5 APC to vicinity BS792454, and BS804446, then return to Bronco. Bravo Company with E Troop continued to work in a joint operation with the 1st Battalion 4th ARVN Regiment. At 0935hrs Bravo Company found fresh Punji pits, fighting positions and empty canister for recoilless rifle round. At 1000hrs found old tunnels and trench line, dug out area with overhead cover it was not used. Bravo Company with APC tracks reports their location at BS828420. At 1010hrs Bravo Company found 2 75mm Recoilless Rifle in carrying case also 15 empty canister, 2 fighting positions , old PRC 25 Battery and expended A-47 rifle brass about 60 rounds. At 1025rhs Bravo Company found radio possible from Chopper Medlastor SN#82629A Radio/sends /checking with 174 Aviation at grid BS828420. At 1205hrs Bravo Company and APC are closing on LZ Bronco.

Delta Company

Delta Company will conduct a Recon in Force to Vicinity BS813425, BS806405 and BS814422. Delta Company with 1 platoon continued the joint operation with the PRU. At 1120hrs Delta Company dug up fresh grave with male body with head wound by small arms fire, male between 40-50 years old. Believe he was who sniper at them on the 25. At 1205hrs Delta Company reports their location at BS813426. At 1550hrs Delta Company at BS813426 found 1 ton of rice, 200’ of plastic, rice is evac. At 1830hrs Delta Company reports night locations at BS777420 with the 93 & 43 at BS776425. At 1940hrs Delta Company at BS776425 1 US received minor frag wounds from friendly Hand grenade was chasing 3 VC and no Dust Off was need. At 1940hrs Delta Company at BS777420 observed 3 VC results 1 VC KIA trying to swim river, will try to locate in morning. At 2103hrs Delta Company at BS777420 heard movement, engaged and received 2 hand grenades from enemy with negative casualties.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0621hrs Recon Platoon conducted a Combat Assault and LZ at 0635hrs LZ Cold. At 1433hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at LZ Liz. At 1655hrs Recon Platoon is located at BS775445 reports 1 US WIA in Mo Duc hit in leg and evac.
