Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: The 1-20 Infantry TOC, is located at LZ O’Connor cutting the trails looking for movement down into the Valley leading to the Coast and conducts a Security sweep south of Hiep DUC area looking for building or signs of traffic or build up, in this area. Division TOC VC and NVA threat in I Corp, increasing indications that the enemy is presently prepared to launch a new series of attacks within I Corp Area of Operation. Make sure all report any attacks by ground and fire will probably be coordinated any attack against major population center of installations must be considered and indication of major offensive activity throughout Corp area. These for info only and be sure to report immediately any attacks.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company and Bravo Company continued to use Security and Destroy Operations in their Area of Operation and continued their searching for a crossing point of the River.
Bravo Company
March 28, 1968
Bravo Company with Alpha Company continued to use Search and Destroy operations in their Area of Operation. At 1135hrs Bravo Company at AT876247 observed 1 man evading 75 meters northwest engaged with small arms fire with results 1 VC KIA.
Charlie Company

At 1850hrs Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Dottie and LZ Uptight with an ambush at BS652842.
Delta Company
March 28, 1968
Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ O ‘Connor. Delta Company (-) will Search and Destroy operations west to vicinity AT8824.
Echo Company
March 28, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon where now located on LZ O’Connor and set up to provide direct support for the Battalion. Recon platoon will conducts multiple Day Ambushes in the Hiep Duc Area.
