Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0710hrs 1-20 Infantry requests one team tracker dogs at southeast pad 0800hrs. At 0830hrs 1-20 found a 200 pound bomb at BS807409, will blow it in place notified ARVN, Aviation, FDC and Base Defense. At 0915hrs 1-20 Infantry at BS775458 routine DUST OFF for one male wound with frag wounds in leg, Dust Off completed at 095hrs.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company is at BS833437 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use Multiple Patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company
November 27, 1969
At 0530hrs Bravo Company is at BS783433 request Urgent Dust Off for one RF with gunshot wound in leg (accident) Dust Off completed at 0529hrs. Bravo Company is at BS783433 working with joint operations with the ARVN and will continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company at 0800hrs report they will be using their Night Defense Position, as their Day Logger and will be using Saturation Patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0145hrs Charlie Company at BS754454 received an RPG round from BS754454, shortly after a Vietnamese women came to their location with frag wounds in foot. Charlie Company did engage with Artillery and 81mm-mortar fire with unknown results. At 0505hrs at BS783433 requested Urgent Dust Off for 1 RF with gunshot wounds in leg (Accident), completed at 0529hrs. At 0510hrs at BS755458 and a M-72 round accidentally exploded results in two US WIA (E) one with a hand blown off and the loss of hearing, Dust Off completed at 0529hrs. They were attempting to disassemble the M-72. At 2005hrs Charlie Company found a tunnel at BS745444, and request Urgent Dust Off for ARVN with frag wounds from friendly 81mm-mortar fire, Dust Off completed at 2019hrs. Report from Charlie Company the 3rd and 4th Battalion ARVN at BS741439 observed movement at the edge of their perimeter 3 VC/NVA and they set off trip flare engaged with 81mm mortar fire with unknown results.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company
November 27, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon reports their location at LZ Liz to will continue their Security Mission for the 1-20 Infantry.
