Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0015hrs LT Davis inspected bunker 3 and LT Kalish bunker 7. At 0110hrs Saber 49 is on station to work NH Box 69 and broke station at 0147hrs. At 0300hrs Sabre 49 is on station working NH Box 63 and broke station at 0325hrs with negative findings. At 0605hrs LT Davis inspected bunker 4 at 0300hrs Satisfactory and LT De Camillio inspected Bunker 15 satisfactory. At 0915hrs to Brigade request trucks to move Delta Company to LZ Dragon on 28 May at 0830hrs also need Charlie Company pick up and returned to LZ Liz. At 0923hrs 1-20 Infantry TO Recon, Alpha, Charlie Companies, the Vietnamese will move off of LZ Dragon on 280600 into Box Upper Lift 6554, Lower Right 6950. Recon will be south of 50 grid line no later then 0600hrs, will be changing batteries in sensors. At 1315hrs Mo Duc request 1 Urgent Dust Off for 2 RF with multiple frag wounds after hitting Booby trap, Bird # 57 completed at 1331hrs. At 1740hrs Helix at BS665535 reports on .51 Caliber pits, BS610555 new pits 665580 many trails cultivation, no structures. At 1805hrs Warlord 7 is on station. At 1832hrs S-3 to Alpha Company conduct quick moves, as soon as possible to the south. At 1834hrs Dolphin 22 broke station. At 2100hrs 1-20 Infantry Mechanical Ambushes out: Alpha 8, Bravo 6, Charlie 4 and Recon 1 for a total 19. At 2147hrs LZ Liz is on practice Alert, 2149hrs 155 100%, 105 100% at 2150hrs, Delta Company 100% 2211hrs Alert considered satisfactory. To Brigade S-3 from 1-20 Infantry S-3 272147 May practice Alert considered satisfactory. At 2255hrs SFC Taylor Ok Bunker 4 satisfactory. At 2325hrs Bunker 16 Ok by LT De Camillio considered satisfactory. Legend: 1st Platoon 34, 2nd Platoon 05, 3rd Platoon 89, 4th Platoon 78, CO-07.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.SP4 Guy W. Thomas was evac to the 91st Evac Hospital medic.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0950hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon is moving out to BS707517. At 1200hrs Alpha Company 3rd Platoon at checkpoint 1 at BS702513. At 1328hrs Alpha Company 3rd Platoon is at checkpoint 4 at BS725497. At 1735hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon is moving out to BS715503. At 1912hrs Alpha Company requested priority Dust Off for scout dog with red tongue disease at BS718508, Bird #88 completed at 1934. Alpha Company is moving to their Night Defense Position and report 8 Mechanical Ambush out.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1817hrs Bravo Company Command Post with 3rd Platoon in their Night Defense Position at BS715425. At 1827hrs Bravo Company Command Post has found 155mm round in their Patrol base blew it in place. At 1905hrs Bravo Company heard Mechanical Ambush detonate from Patrol Base, 3rd Platoon Patrol checked area results 2 NVA KIA, CIA 2 AK 50 1 destroyed, 2 pistol bells, 4 hand frag and 2 AK Magazines. Bravo Company reports their Night locations Command Post with 3rd Platoon in their Night Defense Position at BS715425 with 6 Mechanical Ambushes out.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0727hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon is moving out to Patrol base at BS660559 and 2nd Platoon in their Patrol Base at BS650564. At 1428hrs Charlie Company 1st Platoon found 3 fighting position at grid BS661563, used in last 2-3 days. At 1943hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon found 2 booby trap cans of Petna and 2 piles of 60mm mortar rounds all ere blow in place. Charlie Company reports they are in their Night Defense Position at BS639563 and BS661562 with ambushes at BS665556, BS640565 and BS639563.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0015hrs LT Davis inspected bunker 3 and LT Kalish bunker 7. At 0530hrs LZ Liz LT Kalish inspected Bunker # 7 and LT Tobin bunker 5 and found satisfactory. At 2147hrs LZ Liz on practice alert Delta Company 100% at 2211hrs Alert over. At 2255hrs SFC Taylor Ok Bunker 4 satisfactory. At 2325hrs Bunker 16 Ok by LT De Camillio considered satisfactory.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 2014hrs Recon changed Night Defense Position to BS685523
