Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1830hrs 19th Engineer at LZ Snoopy request sharks or gun ship at following area BS731601 and BS730603, receiving mortars and automatic weapons fire. At 0750hrs vicinity BS745345 was inserted. At 0720hrs LRRP Nevada at 0715hrs spotted 15 NVA/VC with packs and weapons at BS789330. At 1435hrs 1-20 Infantry request Dust Off for 1 US with possible malaria.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1130hrs 1-20 Infantry reports at 1 WIA, sniper fire Dust Off Command and Control Helicopter at 1710hrs vicinity BS895220 unknown convoy taking fire Commander of 1-20 Infantry request Gun ships sharks scrambled. PFC Danny J. Kersman was evac to 23rd Medical Battalion at 1700hrs with gunshot wound to shoulder and sent evac to 312th Evac Hospital.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with security of bridges. At 1008hrs Alpha Company is located at BS912247. At 1530hrs E Troop vicinity BS917255 found a mine in road, hooks are going to try and pull it out, it blew up and was signal to set off ambush, vicinity BS917253 requested Dust Off and completed at 1605hrs. It was a unknown convoy that was taking fire, and requested Sharks gun ships be scrambled. Alpha Company vicinity 912258 had 1 WHA (E) from sniper fire and was requested for Gun Ships at 1615hrs reports 2 VC KIA and Dust Off was completed at 1710hrs. At 1920hrs Alpha Company completed a Dust Off for, 9 year old from an overturned vehicle, at 1950hrs Hidden Lakes at Charlie Brown requested Urgent Dust Off for 1 male Vietnamese fractured skull, Dust Off completed at 1924hrs.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company is located at Chu Lai for their Stand Down. At 1008hrs Bravo Company has made a air movement to LZ Thunder and takes over the Security Mission for the Fire Base.

Delta Company

Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
