Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations. At 0745hrs some Vietnamese Civilians brought a Vietnamese male into Bridge 95 with gunshot wound. He was tagged as VCS by E Troop and Dust Off was completed at 0858hrs. At 1032hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports Command and Control Helicopter at BS828328 detained 4 VCS male and evac to POW cage at LZ Bronco. At 1744hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports Aerial Scouts observer several men, check out and all had ID cards at BS920267 and at 1744hrs Aerial Scouts observer at BS913230 1 pair Ho Chi Minh Boots and several collie hats along side of trail. At 1740hrs Aerial scouts at BS820310 detained man hiding in hole, will evac to LZ Bronco for questioning, and at 1803hrs Aerial Scouts at BS805466 engaged 2 VC in green uniforms, both evaded into spider holes, observed many green uniforms drying on huts.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. LZ Bronco additional assessment of damage received from mortar attach, one more fuel line were damage and fuel bladder minor, airfield negative damage size of mortar was 82mm. At 1210hrs 174 Aviation reports have 1 chopper down at BS835394 because of maintenance, request a squad of Infantry to secure chopper until it can be repaired.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz with Alpha Company 68 is location at BS753445.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company has the Security Mission for LZ Dragon with ambush located at BS699531.
Charlie Company
October 26, 1968
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with ambush at BS843307. At 2000hrs Charlie Company 82 snake moved to BS828322.
Delta Company
October 26, 1968
At 0808hrs Delta Company reports the body of PFC WILLER ROBERT TUCKER, washed ashore in the vicinity BS926218, body was evac to Grave registration 6th Support Battalion by Command and Control Helicopter. Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with the 68 and 40 elements at BS935223. At 2000hrs Delta Company reports their location at LZ Charlie Brown and Bridge 94 with ambushes at BS894227 and BS897238. At 2125hrs Delta reports that at BS920233 Delta 96 reports APC on Bridge 95 received sniper fire also observed and identified as AK 47 from approximately BS920228 also direct at Bridge 95 engaged with 81mm with negative assessment.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Thunder where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Thunder. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Thunder and 2 squads on LZ Charlie Brown where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie with 1 Platoon from Bravo Company.
