Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0400hrs 39th Engineer at 0230hrs LZ Snoopy BS705613, Charlie Company received small arms fire, hand frag grenades and recoilless rifle fire. VC penetrated perimeter, 3 KHA, 5 WIA (E), 4 WIA (M), 6 VC KIA, 2 detained, 3 AK47, 1 B-40 rocket launder, AK-50 pistol and numerous hand grenades CIA enemy inside perimeter. 1 NVA CIA said from the 2 NVA Battalion 22 NVA Regiment with rank PFC in country for 30 days. 1-20 Infantry inserted SRRP of Reliable and extraction of Snowflake. At 1345hrs LZ Snoopy Charlie Company 39th Engineer and G 55 Artillery received 6 rounds of 60/82mm mortar with results 1 WIA evac to LZ Bronco. At 1935hrs 1-20 Infantry Charlie Company on LZ Thunder received 8 rounds 60mm mortar and return fire 81mm mortars and at 2035hrs spotted 10 VCS at BS853412 fired 81 Mortar checking it out in morning. Believe the 3 KHA for Charlie Company 39 Engineer LISTED AS KIA SP4 DENNIS DALE GREER, PFC ROBERT DARYL LIESER AND SP4 CHARLES CRAIG VICKREY.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1530hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC reports at 1420hrs in vicinity BS915248 we have 1 WIA (E) on convoy ambush (see Alpha Company).
Alpha Company
March 26, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with security of bridges. At 0950hrs 32 is at BS915256, by 1157hrs at BS912257. At 1350hrs Alpha Company 32 SRRP is in position. At 1305hrs Alpha Company had completed a Dust for 1 ARVN, and at 1420hrs vicinity BS915248 had one US WHA (E) from a convoy ambush convoy from LZ Bronco to Sa Huynh. SP4 Alfred E. Schunk was injured and evac to the 312th Evac Hospital at 1525hrs with gunshot wounds right jaw and facial lacerations.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company is located at Chu Lai for their Stand Down.
Charlie Company
March 26, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1535hrs SRRP Reliable and Snowflake are inserted. At 1935hrs LZ Thunder received 8 rounds 60mm mortar, returned 81mm mortar and at 2035hrs Charlie Company Thunder spotted 10 VCS at BS853412 fired 81mm mortar checking it out in morning.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 0509hrs at LZ Liz spotted 1 VC in wire fired unknown results and at 1159hrs Delta Company 35 is leaving LZ Liz on a Security Patrol in and around LZ Liz. 1-20 Infantry inserted SRRP of Reliable and extraction of Snowflake. At 2315hrs Delta Company spotted 3 blinking lights at BS756408.
Echo Company
March 26, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. 1-20 Infantry inserted SRRP of Reliable and extraction of Snowflake.
