Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ O’Connor cutting the trails, looking for movement down into the Valley leading to the Coast and conducts a Security sweep south of Hiep DUC area. They are looking for building or signs of traffic or build up, into these areas.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company
March 26, 1968
Alpha Company and Recon Platoon will conduct Search and Destroy in the Hiep Duc Area then swept Northeast vicinity AT9126.
Bravo Company
March 26, 1968
Bravo Company search for trail AT8638, AT8822 will link up with Alpha Company at At8925 searching for main trails leading into the high ground. 1400hrs Bravo Company vicinity AT895247 received sniper fire resulting in 1 WHA. At 1515hrs Bravo Company killed 2 VC evading. Bravo Company set up Night Defense Position vicinity AT883239.
Charlie Company
March 26, 1968
At 1050hrs Task Force Barker reports Road is open thru Area of Operation and Charlie Company closed on LZ Dottie and taken over the Security Mission for LZ Dottie with the 1st Platoon with the Security Mission for LZ Uptight.
Delta Company
March 26, 1968
Delta Company left one platoon for Security Mission on LZ O’Connor and working security patrolling to the northeast of the LZ. At 1330hrs Delta Company vicinity 946230 KIA 1 VC evading.
Echo Company
March 26, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon where now located on LZ O’Connor and set up to provide direct fire support, to the 1-20 Infantry. The Recon Platoon will conduct Search and Destroy operations in the Hiep Duc area
