Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: Battalion Headquarters is located at LZ Liz as they continued their Mission working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0730hrs the 39 Engineer at BS7566493 found 1 20 pound TNT mine with wooden firing device, destroy mine filled road and road is passable. At 0915hrs Bravo Batter 1-82 Artillery, LZ Snoopy at BS705613 had a 5 ton truck hit by command detonated mine. Results 1 US WIA (M), with 3 Vietnamese KIA and 10 Vietnamese WIA with no damage to truck. At 1840hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer reports at BS796404 Vietnamese Lambretta detonated 40 pound mine with results 3 Vietnamese KIA. Also at 0900hrs vicinity 795406, Vietnamese Honda detonated 40 pound mine with results 3 Vietnamese KIA.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear Area activity was back to normal and they continued their Mission. LZ Bronco DELAYED REPORT- At 1100hrs 1-20 Infantry Headquarters Company found 1 NVA KIA at BS825378 dead approximately 2 days, believed to be a member of same sapper unit, which attacked LZ Bronco, was found by unit clearing hedgerows outside perimeter.
Alpha Company
June 26, 1969
At 1020hrs Alpha Company at their Day Logger at BS823430 found 100 pounds of rice and it was destroyed also Vietnamese books will evac to Liz. Alpha Company has moved in to their Day Logger position, received sniper fire and calling in artillery sniper fire stopped. At 1430hs at BS817438 Alpha Company found about 7,000 pounds of rice being brought back to Bronco. At 1720hrs received fire from sniper from a hootch also sniper fired on the resupply helicopter took one hit with negative casualties. Warlords are working area. Helix spotted a place that looks like a good rocket site for Charlie Brown. Command and Control Helicopter will check out the area tomorrow. At 2000hrs Alpha Company is at Night Defense Position at BS822427 with 37 at BS817439, 93 at BS816426, and 74 at BS830422.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company Day Logger at BS735430 and will used saturation patrolling in their Area of Operation and at 2000hrs Bravo Company moved into their Night Defense Position at BS721442 ambush location 76 BS722449, 77 BS729449 and 94 at BS715440.
Charlie Company
June 26, 1969
At 0140hrs Charlie Company received 5 rounds unknown type mortar rounds with negative casualties or damage, enemy grid BS855370, calling in artillery at this time. Charlie Company PZ 0635hrs LZ 0712hrs Charlie back at LZ Liz and by 1010hrs has moved to BS798485. At 1220hrs Charlie Company report 2 KIA from Navel Gun Ships at grid BS796478, and at 1510hrs spotted 5 NVA in Khaki uniforms heading north at BS799495. At 1850hrs Charlie Company has moved into their Night Defense Position at BS808487.
Delta Company
June 26, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. Delta Company will continued to provide Security of the area until the fortifications are completed at Bridge 402 U and when the RF is able to secure the Bridge.
Echo Company
June 26, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0405hrs Recon at BS729451 that 5 VC/NVA came upon flank and engaged with small arms fire and called artillery in sweeping area, results 1 KIA NVA. Recon presently located at BS733455. At 0705hrs Recon previously reported KIA believed to be an officer. Wearing green shorts, green shirt, pistol belt, US 45 caliber pistol, 1 Chi Com grenade and body had been moved. Also found 1 AK 47 and some documents. At 0805hrs Recon Platoon back is on LZ Liz. Recon Platoon completed their air move at 1730hrs from LZ Liz to location at LZ Bronco.
