Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0924hrs 11 Brigade reports they request an Area of Operation from the 1-20 Infantry for Area of Operation extension vicinity of BS890215, south to BS900150, east to BS9315 from 261100hrs to 271800hrs sent to 1 Calvary Division requesting approval at 0940.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder and used multiple patrolling and night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1255hrs Alpha Company vicinity BS844306 received sniper fire with results 1 US WIA (Evac).
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ OD and continued to use multiple patrolling and night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company
January 26, 1968
Charlie Company continued to prepare for their move north with Task Force Baker and their taking part in Operation Muscatine leaving fist thing in morning if Highway 1 is open.
Delta Company

Delta Company conducts their Combat Assault, completed at 0907hrs vicinity BS723425. Delta Company continued their Security Mission for Key Bridges in their Area of Operation and conducts multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation.
Echo Company
January 26, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon and radar platoon where located on LZ Thunder to provide direct support to the Battalion. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder.
