Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dottie and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations. Brigade informed 1-20 Infantry that 1 Platoon of APC and the Engineer Platoon would be sent to LZ Dottie today. At 0950hrs Bravo Company 19 Engineer no traffic south until further notice, Bravo 19 Engineer are setting up a road block on access road to LZ Thunder and VC action in area of LZ Low Boy. At 1415hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC request a SLAR mission be run ASAP over area vicinity BS7682, BS7686, BS7886 and BS7882. Request 1-20 Infantry be notified when mission will be flown. At 1750hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC Request to Son Tinh would like a tracer run on the following people and the info sent to Son Tinh, PF’s LE Van Thuan, Do Van Ninh, Phan Vo and Vo Xuan Mai, were captured 12-13 September at BS500755. At 1830hrs 1-20 Infantry request 4 dogs for 26 September 1968 Command and Control Helicopter will pick up at 0630hrs at southeast pad. At 1835hrs 1-20 Infantry request an inferred mission for the same locations as SLAR mission.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1750hrs 6th Support reports have a truck loaded with beer and soda stuck on the road vicinity BS735533, two other vehicles stuck behind and cannot pass, will send 2 wreckers with 2 gun jeeps to get truck back on the road.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie.
Bravo Company
September 25, 1968
At 1555hrs Bravo Company reports their elements locations with the 86 element is working at BS617837 and Bravo Company 60, 67 and Command Post elements working in area BS615843. At 1855hrs Bravo Company back on LZ Buff for the Security Mission.
Charlie Company
September 25, 1968
At 1115hrs Charlie Company will move from LZ Dottie and at 1644hrs at BS598855 reports they received 100 rounds of small arms fire with negative casualties and calling in Artillery. Charlie Company set up their Night Defense Position at BS601854 with 2 listen posts.
Delta Company
September 25, 1968
Delta Company 1-20 Infantry 1647hrs, at BS612839: Detained 1 VC Suspect, no ID card evac to LZ Dottie for questioning. Delta Company Night Defense Position at BS615840, with 3 LP’s BS613840, BS618837 and BS614847.
Echo Company
September 25, 1968
Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Dottie where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon reports that they have a Security Mission on LZ Dottie and 1-20 Infantry.
