Headquarters and Headquarter Company
June 25, 1969
Battalion Forward: Battalion Headquarters is located at LZ Liz as they continued their Mission working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1500hrs Charlie Company 39 Engineer at BS775455, LZ Snoopy received 40 rounds of small arms fire, 2 rounds from 60mm Mortar fire with results 1 WIA from gunshot wound and returned fire with M-60 and small arms fire. Gun Ships were on station if need for support. At 2130hrs 11 Brigade RF172, from 21-25 June 1969, during this time between 10-12 RF have gone AWOL. Therefore the area was proclaimed insecure and RF pulled back to Duc Pho. The 11 is willing to provide 1 US Company to secure the area so that the RF could complete their mission, which was to assist 39 Engineer in fortifying Bridge 402-U, so that RF will be able to provide security for the Bridge.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear Area activity was back to normal and they continued their Mission.
Alpha Company
June 25, 1969
Alpha Company will work from their Day Logger at BS845427 with saturation patrolling in their Area of Operation and Night Defense Position will be BS823430.
Bravo Company
June 25, 1969
At 0945hrs Bravo Company at BS723430 is in their Day Logger position and will use multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 2115hrs Bravo Company has moved into their Night defense Position at BS729428.
Charlie Company
June 25, 1969
At 0750hrs Charlie has moved to BS849375 and at 1100hrs Charlie Company at their Day Logger BS847377 caught kid (10-12) passing out leaflets but he refused to talk, he is now at LZ Liz and will be evac to Bronco one VCS CIA. At 1945hrs Charlie Company in their 1945hrs at BS802370.
Delta Company
June 25, 1969
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz with the 74 at the north OP and 32 at the South OP. At 2100hrs, 11th Bridge is will to provide 1 US Company for Security of Area until such time that fortifications are completed at Bridge 402U and when the RF Company is able to secure the Bridge.
Echo Company
June 25, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and at 2115hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS729451.
