Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Thunder and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 2155hrs Division TOC stated that a SWIFT BOAT would be off shore at grid BS9324 for 90 minutes as requested by Mike Force, Swift BOAT would come up on Mike Force frequency during operation. The Air Calvary Division would be working just south of 1-20 Infantry, Area of Operation.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 0010hrs 6th Support TOC requested track support to provide ammunition to bunkers 11, 12, 9 and 4. Only tracks at Carentan were completely involved with perimeter defense roles and 4.2 support file. At 1439hrs S-5 en route to LZ Bronco, will not longer be established at LZ Carentan.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder and used multiple patrolling and night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ OD and continued to use multiple patrolling and night ambushes in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company
January 25, 1968
Charlie Company to prepare for their move north with Task Force Baker and their joining in the Operation Muscatine Area of Operation as soon as Highway 1 is open and transportation is available.
Delta Company
January 25, 1968
Delta Company continued their Security Mission for Key Bridges and conducts multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation conducting Search and Destroy operations.
Echo Company
January 25, 1968
Echo Company and 4.2 platoon and radar platoon where located on LZ Thunder to provide direct support to the Battalion. At 1406hrs Recon 1-20 Infantry extraction completed at 1405hrs Two slicks showed up for 1st left, and 1 additional ship showed up for 3rd lift. Colonel Beers would like confirmed information concerning number of ships to be used in extraction of Combat Assault.
