Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0841hrs Primo 4 is on station for Command and Control Helicopter. At 1047hrs Warlord 7 vicinity BS651569 sighted 2 51caliber positions were destroyed. At 1355hrs Minuteman 129 is on station for re supply. At 1545hrs Primo 4 is on station for Command and Control Helicopter and broke station at 1630hrs. At 1745hrs Warlords vicinity BS642568, slick took what he believed to be 51caliber fire from the above grid with negative hits or damage. Artillery is being fired into the area at this time. At 1815hrs ARVN 1-4 from LZ Dragon will have a ambush site at BS630575. At 2112hrs MACV Mo Duc vicinity BS731551, requests Urgent Dust Off for 1 Vietnamese female with after effects of child birth, completed at 2115hrs by Dust Off 889. Legend: 1st Platoon 02-07, 2nd Platoon 42-47, 3rd Platoon 92-97, 4th Platoon 52-57, CO-01.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

At 1201hrs Alpha Company 1st Platoon moving to Patrol Base vicinity BS705480 as they continued their multiple Patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1530hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon patrol is moving out for BS721454. At 1647hrs Alpha Company 2nd Platoon patrol closed vicinity BS717464 and 1st Platoon patrol is moving out for BS711578. At 1940hrs Alpha Company Command Post, 2nd, 4th Platoons at BS729450, 1st Platoon BS728470, BS726475 and 2nd Platoon ambushes BS722450, BS726454, with 3rd Platoon at OP Wood stock and at 2130hrs the 2nd Platoon ambush in location at BS653575.

Charlie Company

At 0730hrs Charlie Company reference 1930hrs Charlie Company at BS673572 February 24, 1971, 4 of 6 unknown rounds detonated through the night at OP Wood stock, will wait till morning to check out the area. At 0930hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon vicinity at BS684574, while searching area of suspected enemy 82mm RR sight, found 2 82mm RR rounds, BK-881 (heat round). They will be blown in place. At 1230hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon vicinity BS668578, found while on patrol 7 bunkers (family type) and 12 casing, for B-40 rockets, bunker were destroyed by artillery. At 1745hrs Charlie Company vicinity OP wood stock received 1 RPG round from BS675565, 7 rounds 82mm, mortar fire from BS664564 and 2 82 RR rounds from BS668578. Reactionary fire included 81mm, 60mm, 4.2, 105, 155, quad 50 and 50cal fire. Warlords presently on station, and there was negative damage or casualties at this time. At 1745hrs Charlie Company 2nd Platoon vicinity BS664564, Warlord observed 2 large aircraft flare canisters pointed toward OP Wood Stock. He destroyed both canisters supported by crossed sticks. At 2130hrs 2nd Platoon ambush is at BS653575
Delta Company

At 0800hrs Delta Company 3rd Platoon is in their Patrol Base at BS692452, 3rd Platoon patrol moving out to BS695450. At 0820hrs 1st Platoon is moving to BS728433. Delta Company continued their multiple patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1920hrs Delta Company Command Post 2nd and 4th Platoon at BS721443, 3rd Platoon is at BS733433 and 1st Platoon is at BS709433 and BS707428.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 0643hrs Recon is closing on LZ Liz.
