Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 2320hrs LZ Bronco Base Defense reports at BS808418 spotted 15 VCS in open engaged with artillery with negative results.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company is OPCON to the 4-21 Infantry. Alpha Company at 1016hrs set up a Patrol Base at BS635295, and 24 Recon in Force to BS633292, the 51 element to BS685289, the 32 element to BS653297. Alpha Company at 1230hrs is at their Patrol Base at BS935295.
Bravo Company

At 0800hrs Bravo Company at BS717463 continued to use saturation patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 1950hrs Bravo Company is at BS717463 spotted 10 VC moving east at BS716443 3 in green uniforms rest in black, 4 in black went into Ville rest disappeared called in Artillery.
Charlie Company

At 0800hrs Charlie Company is at BS776381 with 21 is at BS715466 and 23 BS718462. At 1915hrs Charlie Company BS768403 spot VC at BS766417, called in 81mm mortar fire with negative assessment.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security mission for LZ Liz. At 0620hrs Delta Company 31 element left to their objective at BS7545. At 0800hrs Delta Company 31 at BS752450 with 67 at Bridge 402U, 55 at BS752436 and 53 at BS754420. At 1840hrs Delta Company at LZ Liz with 54 at Bridge 402U, 55 at BS752436 and 53 at BS754420. At 1915hrs Delta Company BS764423 spot 5 VC fired and 2 squads check area with negative finding.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon reports their SRRP is still in position at BS705421. At 1915hrs Recon Platoon SRRP spotted 3 VC moving northeast at BS706428 and spotted 10 VC moving west to east at BS718435 did not call fires, are trying to determine where they are going.
