Headquarters and Headquarter Company
November 23, 1969
Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continue their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1943hrs 1-20 Infantry requested tracker dogs for tomorrow, 2 dogs, Command and Control Helicopter to pick up at 0545hrs at Bud Pad. Request for Scout Dogs, was cancelled by 59 Infantry Platoon (Scout Dogs) at 2122hrs.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. At 1210hrs Bravo Company 26 Engineer at BS757435 request Urgent Dust Off for 1 Vietnamese female with gun shot wound in Back, completed at 1217hrs.
Alpha Company
November 23, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company at BS833437 is working with joint operations with the ARVN and will continue to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. Alpha Company is reporting on Land Clearing Operation from the Engineer as they are getting ready to break down and to move out.
Bravo Company
November 23, 1969
At 0927hrs Bravo Company at BS788438 has requested Urgent Dust Off for one US with facial wounds from a Hand grenade booby trap, Dust Off completed at 0940hrs. At 1950hrs Bravo Company Guerrilla element has captured 1 VCS man, dressed in black P.J. and no pack, ARVN says VC will evac to Bronco. Bravo Company reports SP4 Herbert L. Reasoner was evac.
Charlie Company
November 23, 1969
At 0937hrs Charlie Company at BS718428, received 1 round of 57mm recoilless Rifle fire from BS714455, putting Artillery on enemy grid at this time, we have negative casualties or damage. At 1125hrs Charlie Company at BS733447, one ARVN with food poisoning Dust Off completed at 1132hrs. Charlie Company at 1940hrs at BS745455 (2/3/4 ARVN with 62 and 42 elements when VC tried to enter their location and engage with small arms fire, Result in 1 VC KIA. Charlie Company Night Defense Position at BS729444 and at 2319hrs Charlie Company 66 at en route to their ambush CIA 1 VCS with sack containing a green uniform. They returned VCS to location of the 62 element to be evac to Bronco in the morning.
Delta Company

Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company
November 23, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon is providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0800hrs Recon Platoon is located at BS765393 their Day Logger. At 1620hrs Recon Platoon at BS782376 request Dust OFF for 1 WIA VCS well over military age, he was evading engaged with small arms fire, wounded in the let, wearing OD shirt and black shorts. He was carrying medical supplies and documents, given to him WIA VC and Dust Off is completed at 1717hrs. At 1815hrs Recon Platoon reports their Night Defense Position located at BS782384.
