Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 1025hrs 1-20 Infantry LRRP Idaho inserted at 0950hrs at BS742322. At 1200hrs LRRP Idaho vicinity BS742322 reports 1 KIA requests extraction and completed at 1233hrs. At 1450hrs Bravo 1-82 Artillery reports received 4 82mm Mortar rounds at LZ Snoopy with results 4 WIA (E) from Bravo 55 Artillery and 1 WIA (M) from 1-82 Artillery. At 1540hrs US Navy Swift boats, vicinity BS932250 reports have destroy 9 huts and 3 bunkers and had two sustained fires. At 1955hrs LZ Liz observed 16 VC/NVA moving east on 515 highway on bike going west possible carrying party put in mortars and artillery results 3 secondary explosion started fire.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1800hrs LZ Bronco reports to received 2 rounds of 140mm rockets results 1 WIA (M) from 523 Signal.
Alpha Company
March 23, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown with Security of bridges. At 0708hrs Alpha Company 52 is leaving LZ Charlie Brown and at 1445hrs 52 is at BS918235 and has moved to BS915259 by 1445hrs. At 1350hrs Alpha Company at BS882275 spotted 3 to 5 (VC/NVA). At 1900hrs 32 at Bridge 94 and 35 Bridge 95 and 95 is at BS379228 and 57 is at BS920260. At 2325hrs Alpha Company received about 40 rounds sniper fire on Bridge 94 and response with 81mm fire in the area.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz and security for bridge 124. At 1955hrs Bravo Company Command Post at LZ Liz observed VC/NVA that area moving east to BS720438, fired Artillery and mortars, 3 secondary explosions and stated 1 fire.
Charlie Company
March 23, 1969
Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder with 82 located at BS841328. At 1115hrs Charlie Company vicinity BS845319 received 50 to 60 rounds small arms fire with negative casualties. At 1230hrs Charlie Company at BS847317 detained 5 VCS (2 males and 3 female), and at 1900hrs Charlie Company 52 is at BS879355.
Delta Company

Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1900hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS718437.
