Headquarters and Headquarter Company
November 22, 1969
Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0900hrs 1-20 Infantry request Scout dogs for 22 November at Bud Pad 1330hrs. At 2140hrs Brigade Shadow on Station for Base Defense 2256hrs cleared fire zone with 1-20 Infantry and 4-21 Infantry. At 2320hrs Base Defense Shadow departed at 2320hrs flare lodged in tube had to break for maintenance before ship catch on fire.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion.
Alpha Company
November 22, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company at BS833437 is working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1600hrs Alpha Company reports Engineer clear 50 Acres at BS790408, BS799469.
Bravo Company
November 22, 1969
Bravo Company at BS783433 is working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 0940hrs Bravo Company at BS793334 with one VC Chieu Hoi leaded Bravo Company to 2 gas engines, the type the VC use for irrigation. They will turn the Chieu Hoi over to the ARVN.
Charlie Company

At 0725hrs Charlie Company at BS729444 requested a Dust Off for 1 Vietnam civilia6n with a heart attack, Dust Off completed at 0710hrs. Charlie Company still at BS729444 and is still working a search and clear operation in the area around their Day Logger.
Delta Company
November 22, 1969
Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz. Delta Company reports PFC Paul M. Cahill was evac to the 91st Evac Hospital.
Echo Company
November 22, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon reports their location at LZ Liz. At 1030hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS759414. At 1200hrs Recon is set up at BS463661. Recon Platoon reports location at BS762402. At 1820hrs Recon Platoon reports location at BS765395 and at 2010hrs Recon Platoon Night location at BS465393.
