Headquarters and Headquarter Company
March 22, 1971

Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0510hrs Saber 40 is on station to check Box 41 and at 0540hrs Saber 40 broke station with negative findings in Box 41. At 0940hrs Slow Motion 10 is on station for Command and Control Helicopter. At 1325hrs Pelican 37 is on station for re supply. At 1535hrs Slow Motion 10 is now on station and breaking station at 1635hrs. Legend: 1^st Platoon 33, 2^nd Platoon 46, 3^rd Platoon 22, 4^th Platoon 09, CO-42.

Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.

Alpha Company
March 22, 1971

Alpha Company continued to use saturation Patrolling and Day ambush in their Area of Operation. At 1930hrs Alpha Company Command Post, 1^st Platoon at BS641534, 2^nd Platoon at BS635558, and 3^rd Platoon at BS635561.

Bravo Company
March 22, 1971

Bravo Company continued to use Patrol Bases and multiple patrolling along with some Day light ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 0800hrs Bravo Company all element now in location Command Post with 2^nd and 4^th Platoon at vicinity BS677516, 1^st Platoon and 3^rd Platoon at vicinity BS667508. At 1004hrs Bravo Company requests routine Dust Off for 1 US with rash on face, swollen glands, and sweating profusely Bird 82 line # C1853 PFC Danny Cannon, completed at 1036hrs. At 1207hrs Bravo Company 1^st and 3^rd Platoons is moving to new Area of Operation. At 1955hrs Bravo Company locations are Command Post with 2^nd and 4^th Platoon at BS666513, and the 1^st and 3^rd Platoon at BS656518.

Charlie Company
March 22, 1971

Charlie Company 3^rd Platoon moving out for BS719459 and Command Post and 1^st and 2^nd Platoon moving out for their Day Logger with Command Post and 2^nd Platoon at BS713452 and the 1^st Platoon at vicinity BS703452. At 1320hrs Charlie Company 3^rd Platoon patrol is moving out for checkpoint 1 vicinity BS728448 and checkpoint 2 vicinity BS725452. At 1940hrs Charlie Company reports their locations 1^st Platoon at BS725444, 2^nd Platoon and Command Post at BS722450 and 1^st Platoon Night Defense Position vicinity BS724441.

Delta Company
March 22, 1971

At 1200hrs Delta Company had 1 81mm mortar round, 1 hand grenade by 3 Vietnamese children ages 8-14 paid 1,000 plasters blown in place. At 1305hrs all elements have closed on highway 1 and at 1345hrs now en route to LZ Liz. At 1400hrs Delta Company had closed on LZ Liz at 1400hrs

Echo Company
March 22, 1971

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry. At 0622hrs Recon is moving to vicinity BS717448. At 0635hrs Recon is now in their Day Ambush at vicinity BS717448. At 1800hrs Recon is now moving out for BS716437 and closed on their location at 2000hrs.
