Headquarters and Headquarter Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and continued their working with the ARVN units in their Area of Operations under the 1969 Accelerated Pacification Program Americal Division reports 18 joint Pacification Operations. At 0715hrs Bravo Company 96 element at BS772405 received sniper fire from estimate squad size VC, Requested gun ships, guns ship called and on station at this time. At 0750hrs 1-20 Infantry received 1 set of tracker dogs for 1300hrs for use on LZ Liz, approved by SFC Behune.
Battalion Rear: Battalion Rear continued their Mission for providing general support for the Battalion. SP4 William S. Gariepy medic attached to the 91st Evac Hospital high temp and possible malaria.
Alpha Company
November 21, 1969
Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Land Clearing Operation. Alpha Company reports at BS833437 working with joint operations with the ARVN and continued to use multiple patrolling and Day and Night ambushes in their Area of Operation. At 1645hrs Alpha Company reports Engineer 125 Acres in area BS799462, BS803464, BS791475 and BS797478 no booby traps or mines.
Bravo Company
November 21, 1969
At 0715hrs Bravo Company 96 element at BS772405 received sniper fire from estimate squad size VC and requests gun ships. Guns ships called and are on station at this time. At 1850hrs Bravo Company at BS783433 will evac Hoi Chanh to Bronco and have 1 VC Chieu Hoi who surrendered to Hamlet Chief at above grid claims to be an assistance, supervisor for an irrigation project, knows location of 3 direct water pumps.
Charlie Company

At 0955hrs Charlie Company moved to BS729444 and used it as their Day Logger and joined by 1 Company of ARVN at BS735444.
Delta Company
November 21, 1969
Delta Company will continue their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Echo Company
November 21, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0805hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS759414. At 1150hrs Recon Platoon has closed on LZ Liz. At 1955hrs Recon Platoon left LZ Liz for Short Recon Range Patrol to BS770419.
