Headquarters and Headquarters Company

Battalion Forward: 1-20 Infantry Battalion located on LZ Liz carrying out their Mission working with the ARVN units in their Duc Pho Area of Operations.
Battalion Rear: Battalion continued their general support role for the Battalion and Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1945hrs LZ Bronco 36-37 received small arms fire, returned fire with small arms fire and 81mm mortar. 10 Minutes later one unknown type of explosion approximately, requested to sweep area with 50 caliber or mortars, checking with artillery now.
Alpha Company

At 0950hrs Alpha Company again searching BS801428, found a NVA KBA in grave. At 1620hrs Alpha Company vicinity BS801428 found bunkers, Chi Com grenade, spider holes, blew Hand grenade and destroyed bunkers and spider holes.
Bravo Company
June 21, 1969
At 0145hrs Bravo Company at BS725477 receiving heavy RPG and small arms fire requested Guns and Flare ships, at 0210hrs Sharks came on station worked area and in dropping flare observed and engaged with 1 NVA/VC with unknown results. Bravo Company there are located around their Night Defense Positions which the enemy were firing RPG and small arms fire and Chi Com grenades. Sharks and flare called to work area and the Company will sweep through area after Guns finish. Checking area found 2 NVA KIA and 3 AK 47, 1 belt with star on buckle and Chi Com grenade. At 0925hrs Bravo Company vicinity BS725447 have one US WHA with frag wounds from June 20, wounds were minor and treated in the field. At 0950hrs Bravo Company at their Day Logger at BS731443 and that will be their Day Logger and with use Recon in Force operation in their Area of Operation.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz.
Delta Company
June 21, 1969
At 0815hrs Delta Company is located at BS821367 and at 0950hrs Delta Company reports they have closed on LZ Bronco.
Echo Company
June 21, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0930hrs Recon Platoon vicinity BS757457, found 5000 pounds of rice about 300-400 meters northwest of position, will ship to Duc Pho. At 1400hrs Recon reports they are back on LZ Liz.
