At 1730hrs Sharks reports at BS765534 observed 7 VC in open, engaged area results 2 VC KIA.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon with a SRRP at BS708525. At 1620hrs Alpha Company 51 element is at BS707532. At 1840hrs Alpha Company reports their locations 23 at BS721529, 44 BS725525, 54 BS729522 and 43 at BS722528.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz. At 1105hrs Bravo Company at BS737457 found 11 graves, contained 8 VC KIA, 3 KBA by Artillery, and 5 KIA by small arms fire, 12 hours old. At 1620hrs Bravo Company 22 is located at BS759437.
Charlie Company

Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Charlie Brown. At 1840hrs Delta Company reports their locations 43 at Bridge 84, 52 at BS892239, 53 BS892236 and 54 at BS894229. At 1240hrs Dablo SRRP spotted 1 dozen people carrying what looked like at casket and are burying it at BS923264.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 0800hrs Recon Platoon continued their SRRP and reports at their ambush area of contact BS724456. At 0910hrs 1-20 Infantry TOC Recon Platoon at BS726472 report 1 VC KIA. Items found 1 NVA pack with rice and 2 cans of fish, 1 NVA belt with first aid packet, 1 canteen, 1 Ho Chi Minh sandals, 25 pound of rice and 1 gas mask (VC) and 1 small blanket. At 0945hrs Sharks 174th aviation at 0920hrs reports vicinity BS766532 spotted several people evading with results 4 VC KIA wearing black PJ, with no ID. At 1250hrs Recon Platoon reports their location at BS725456.
