Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0900hrs Effective DATE/TIME 220700hrs the TET truce called by VC/NVA ends. Necessary precautions we should be taken to control the expected increase in enemy activity. At 1930hrs SRRP Cougar at BS772392 observed 20 VC, 40 to 60 meters to northwest moving towards SRRP, blew claymores. Sharks on station and extraction completed at 1954hrs, Sharks received automatic weapons fire, fired Artillery observed 2-3 secondary explosions. At 1820hrs Charlie Company 3-1 Infantry on LZ Bronco reports their night positions 61 at BS781371, 66 at BS783369. At 2150hrs 1-20 Infantry request Tracker Dog Team for 22 February 0700hrs, to be picked up by Command and Control Helicopter for use of tracking SRRP Cougar location.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco.
Alpha Company

Alpha Company continued their Security Mission for Charlie Brown and with the 81 element still has security for Bridges 94 and 95. At 1215hrs Alpha Company 21 is at BS900239. At 1810hrs Alpha Company night locations are 81 at Bridge 94 and 83 at Brigade 95 and 95 at BS932232.
Bravo Company

Bravo Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Liz with 81 on Bridge 124 and the 24 element is at BS753436 with the 69 at BS754420. At 0850hrs Bravo Company at BS751442 observed 4 VC in rice paddy evading engaged with negative results all in black PJ’s. At 1400hrs Bravo Company 24 at BS753436 and 69 is at BS754420. At 1820hrs Bravo Company reports their Night Defense Positions with 24 at BS753436 and 69 at BS754420. Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Thunder. At 1147hrs Charlie Company 21 at BS867333 received small arms fire, with negative casualties, called in 4.2 Mortar with negative results. At 1830hrs Charlie Company 81 is at BS878314 their night ambush location. SRRP Cougar at BS772392 observed 20 VC, 70 to 60 meters to northwest moving towards SRRP, blew claymores, sharks on station extraction completed at 1954hrs, sharks received automatic weapons fire, fired Artillery observed 2 to 3 secondary explosions. At 2150hrs requested Tracker Dog team for 22 February 0700hrs to be picked up by Command and Control helicopter for use for tracking SRRP Cougar location.
Delta Company

Delta Company OPCON to 4-21 Infantry continued their Security Mission for LZ Dragon. At 1010hrs Delta Company has SRRP at BS642535.
Echo Company
February 21, 1969
Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. At 1925hrs Recon Platoon at BS721445 engage 4 VC moving east, results 2 VC KIA, are checking area of other two. At 1925hrs Recon at BS721445 found 2 bodies, 1 khaki uniform and 1 blue uniform and 1 AK-47, Recon Platoon returned to LZ Liz.
