Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Liz and will continued to work with ARVN units in their Area of Operations. At 0505hrs Saber 40 is on station to recheck Box 63, grids BS7947 clear to Recon by Fire URF (Duc Pho) and WAR (MO Duc) at BS7914463 engaged 3 hootches and destroyed 2 bunkers, broke station at 0555hrs with unknown results. At 0755hrs 1-20 Infantry Dolphin 340 is on station for re supply. At 1200hrs 1-20 Infantry Helix 35 is on station and looking at grid BS669534. At 2115hrs Saber 49 is on station for Box 63, broke station at 2148hrs with negative findings. At 2210hrs Saber 49 is on station for Box 62, at 2230hrs took small arms fire from grid BS735415 and engaged area. Artillery Fire Mission called by Saber 49 on grid BS737408 engaged with 38 rounds Artillery 105mm. Checking area now at 2300hrs Ship took negative hits, broke station at 2310hrs. Legend: 1st Platoon 51, 2nd Platoon 26, 3rd Platoon 13, 4th Platoon 17, CO-66.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. SGT Richard Beauregard (11B40) was attached to the 91st Evac Hospital.

Bravo Company

Bravo Company set up Patrols bases at 0650hrs Command Post and 1st Platoon Patrol Base at BS718461, at 0720hrs 2nd and 4th Platoons Patrol Base at BS729445 and 0740hrs 3rd Platoon Patrol Base at BS723423. At 1600hrs Bravo Company 3rd Platoon closed on BS723423 and 2nd Platoon Patrol closed on vicinity BS735438. At 1622hrs Bravo Company 1st Platoon closed on BS718461. At 1931hrs Bravo Company Command Post and 1st Platoon in their Night Defense Position at BS718468. At 2015hrs Bravo Company 2nd Platoon and 4th Platoon in their Night Defense Position at BS724444 and 3rd Platoon is moving out to BS716428. At 2025hrs Bravo Company ambush position at BS716428, and 3rd Platoon ambush at BS716426. SSGT Otha L. Fields was attached to the 91st Evac Hospital.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company has the Security Mission for LZ Liz and Road Security. At 2222hrs LZ Liz has a practice Alert and Charlie Company elements is a 100% alert at 2225hrs.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their patrolling in their Area of Operation. At 0645hrs Delta Company Command Post, 3rd, 4th Platoons is moving to vicinity BS673552, 1st Platoon is moving to BS675537 and 2nd Platoon is moving to vicinity BS661554. At 1515hrs Delta Company 2nd Platoon patrol is moving out to BS661554, with Command Post and 3rd Platoon is moving out to BS679553. At 1550hrs Delta Company 3rd Platoon patrol closed on BS673552 and 2nd Platoon closed on BS661554. At 2020hrs Delta Company all elements in their preplanned locations Command Post, 3rd and 4th Platoons at BS675548, 3rd Platoon ambush at BS673554, 1st Platoon at BS671534, 1st Platoon ambush at BS675535 and 2nd Platoon is at BS669556. At 2302hrs Delta Company called at 2230hrs Delta Company reported that 1st Platoon and 1st Platoon ambush were 1,500 meters northeast of preplanned. At 2302hrs after firing navigation rounds, Delta Company reported 1st Platoon is at BS688543 and 1st Platoon ambush is at BS683543.
Echo Company

Echo Company headquarters and 4.2 Mortar Platoon is location on LZ Liz, where the 4.2 Platoon providing direct fire support for the Battalion. Echo Company Headquarters has the responsibility for Base Defense. Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission for 1-20 Infantry on LZ Bronco possible their Stand Down.
