Forward Area: 1-20 Infantry Headquarters is located at LZ Dottie and will continued to work with ARVN units their Area of Operations.
Rear Area: Battalion Rear continued their Mission of general support for the battalion and continued their Security Mission for LZ Bronco. At 1525hrs Charlie Company 19 Engineer at BS633811 received sniper fire resulting in 2 front tires shot out, vehicle hauling fuel, negative casualties also Bravo Company 39 Engineer at same location reports received 50 rounds of automatic weapons fire.
Alpha Company

At 0823hrs Alpha Company at BS502867 and at 1232hrs Alpha Company received small arms fire from BS510870 fired Artillery negative assessments. Alpha Company at 1810hrs has moved into their Night Defense Position at BS502867 with 1 listening post at BS503866.
Bravo Company

At 0823hrs Bravo Company at BS503860 Bravo Company at BS503860 received fire from 5 to 6 VC with carbines at approximate 150 meters southeast of our position and returned fire negative casualties and negative assessment at this time.
Charlie Company

Charlie Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Dottie. At 1815hrs Charlie Company 82 roving patrol with 3 check points center of mass BS638840.
Delta Company

Delta Company continued their Security Mission for LZ Buff. At 0823hrs Delta Company 82 reports their location at BS543816. At 1935hrs Delta Company reports their Delta 40 will have a patrol with 3 checkpoints to BS5482.
Echo Company

Echo Company is located at LZ Dottie where Battalion Forward is and coordinates with the Battalion Rear Elements and Base Defense elements on LZ Dottie. The 4.2 Platoon is located on LZ Dottie where they continue to provide direct fire support for the (1-20 Infantry Battalion). Recon Platoon continued their Security Mission to LZ Dottie.
